I have tried all the methods to get PWP's. I did the diving trick and several variations. I would just hack, because I can, but I want to keep this town semi-unhacked. So how do I do it? I need PWP's from snooty and jock villagers. I never get pinged though. Can anybody help? Got any tips?

if you're specifically looking to get jock and snooty pwps, i recommend trapping them in a small enclosed area by digging holes around them. then, do the diving trick, and only go up to their enclosure (don't be seen by any other villagers). i've tried this once when i was desperate for uchi pwps, but tbh i felt really bad about keeping tammy in a 2x2 enclosed section, and set her free before i got any requests out of her...
my only other tip would be to adopt a lot of snooties and jocks, at least until you've gotten most of the pwps you want. i'd only do this if you don't already have all or most of your dreamies :')

You should be getting pwps from villagers if you're doing the diving trick, maybe you're just getting really unlucky. How long did you do the diving trick for? I've never tried trapping villagers because I've never needed to because the diving trick has always worked for me.
Your villagers won't ping you if you've played for too long, they need to tell you that you need to take a break before anyone will ping you again. So the diving trick should work, and if it doesn't, just talk to one of your villagers and do the diving trick again. That works for me usually!
Hello, not sure if this is appropriate here... But, could someone please tell me what PWP means? I've seen it a lot, and still don't know what it means. Haha.
Yes pwps are a giant pain. I've had villager requests but it's always ugly stuff not pretty like the wisteria trellis or the flower arch(why would they want that when they can ask for a drilling rig or a caution sign?) All I really want right now is the police station but no one will ask for it(this can come from any villager).

Seconding this, I usually do not have to do the diving trick immediately after getting a villager to tell me to take a break. Most of the time I can run by another villager, or run away and run back by that same villager and get a ping right after being told to rest.
Also, sometimes the 5 minute diving time does not work for me. Quite often i have to make it 10 minutes. i used to not bother with the diving method, but lately it's been amazing for me. I'm not sure what it is. I just do it idly while I'm working on something else and usually get a request within the hour. Sometimes longer depending on my luck.
