I am now 23. It’s crazy to me how I went from being one of the youngest people on a lot of online communities to being older than some server owners. I’m no longer college age and I can now say I’m close to finishing my early 20s.

Honestly, I am older, love my couch because it's where I snuggle and play with my cat. I don't have a wife or any children or loved ones. So why shouldn't I be exactly what you don't understand?

I know I’ve answered before but now I’m 28.
31 now. It feels like my 20s went by in the blink of an eye.
I pretty much see anybody under the age of 25 as a kid. I remember being freaked out about turning 24 and being in my "mid twenties" but in hindsight I realize how young that was. 23 is still very young.

I'm 24, I'll be 25 towards the end of this year, that means I'm going to move up an age bracket by then. It's hard to believe that in 5 years from now, I'll be 30! The last time I posted a while ago, I was 22.
Just a general reminder that aging can be scary no matter how old you are turning. What may seem silly to one person could be a genuine and valid fear for somebody else.
People are allowed to feel worried and we shouldn't dismiss that.
A teenager entering their 20s (or even just becoming 18!) is really scary. Their whole life is changing (leaving high school for college or the work force, potentially moving away from home, etc). Similarly somebody moving from early 20s to mid/late 20s may be leaving college/university, seeing their friends get married/start families, etc - all big changes.
It may seem arbitrary to you but in the moment it is scary and weird.

I’m gonna be turning 31 in a couple of months. (June) Time flies. For awhile I was stressed about my age. Feeling like ugh I’m getting so old. But like now I really don’t care. getting older is a blessing. Really what’s the alternative to getting older, the result of not aging is not being alive anymore. I had a few very close called in my teens and I am very grateful to be alive and grateful for every day I have. Though I can say I’ve grown a lot mentally in the past 10 years. Like a ton. I wouldn’t go back to my 20s or teens if someone paid me a million dollars. Absolutely not. I was reckless, not doing well and impulsive back then. I’ve learned so much about myself over the years.
