How often does Animal Crossing distract you from your school work?

AC's never distracted me from work, I get my work done and out the way, then play AC if I want to, but usually I'm way to tired to do anything afterwards.

For me it's vice versa, school distracts me from Animal Crossing.

How dare you make the obvious joke before I could!

Seriously though, I don't have much schoolwork to be distracted from in the first place. If I did I would probably be distracted, yeah, but no guarantees of it being ACNL.

If I have a quarter for every time I have been distracted from HW because of ACNL I would be as rich as Bill Gates. Today is a snow day and we have a story due tomorrow and it was going really good but the whole day I have been on ACNL landscaping my town for winter and I finished it so lamely that i'm probably gonna get a D (Standereds Based Grading). But I must say, my town is looking fabulous!

Not really..

well I started playing the game last year when I was on winter break before my last semester in college, and I played so much during that short one month that by the time school started again, the game almost lost its appeal to me ... I played on minimal basis for 3 months and went on hiatus...

I recently restarted my town, so the game is kind of coming back to me again. But now that I'm outta school, working full time while trying to take professional exams , I prioritize work & study over games... depressing I know, but sadly playing video games aren't going to get me anywhere with getting the certification and dat raise lol

I don't get too distracted from ACNL, only because schoolwork will always be priority, meaning it comes before ACNL. Though I have been known to, ahem, steal a look or two at my town ;)

I'm not in school at the moment. Thank goodness I bought this after I completed my classes, because ACNL distracts me from life pretty much 100% of the time.

I'm guilty of resetting my town lots of times trying to find something that's "perfect", so that gets to be consuming at times. Feeling like I "settled" for a map usually makes me feel bitter, and even though I try to make it pretty - I normally just resort to resetting again. This time I think I've got it right, so the mental pressure/desire to be cycling through maps and playing all the time is pretty low.

It has totally delayed me from running errands before, but nothing ever ultra pressing. Normally stuff I put off for the game is stuff I've already made peace with delaying anyway.

All the time. I have this mental process of how to do work:

1. Is it due tomorrow?
Yes (go to 2)
No (see A)

2. Can you do it during study block?
Yes (see A)
No (see B)

A. Goof off
B. Do the work first

I always get the work done either way.

I like this method of deciding. I have a final paper due tomorrow afternoon, but I can definitely get it done tomorrow morning. I feel better about being here now!

I leave things for last minute, but I have a topographic anatomy final tomorrow and haven't touched my Animal Crossing since tuesday.

But it's the first time I'm prioritizing my college. Seriously, I usually study two-three hours before a test and that's it, but I'm so scared/freaked out of taking anatomy again that I'm studying like crazy. I'm here only because I'm having breakfast and my dream was all about the lumbosacral plexus.

Otherwise I just leave everything to the last minute. I'm getting it done and I don't get stressed, so I don't really worry about it.

I don't let Animal Crossing get in the way of school because I paid a lot of money for it and what a waste that would be. I always make time for Animal Crossing though, but school comes first.
