How Often Do You Organize Your Subscriptions?

I'm still baffled in how I get subscribed to threads in the first place.

I wonder if the site automatically sticks the threads you comment in the most into your subscriptions, unless/until youve selected a certian numner of subscription threads or something. cause since i started intentionally susbcribing to threads, i dont get the random thread subscriptions anymore....
