I would talk to my villagers everyday. I check up on them and see if they need anything. If I pass them, I’ll always stop and chat. I get that the dialogue gets pretty stale, but I still make it a priority to talk to my villagers. Maybe we will get more dialogue in the future, so it’s less repetitive?
Uhhh once a day until I get the Nook Miles Achievement for talking to everyone in town once a day for a certain amount of days... then I probably won't talk too much.
Honestly this is the first game where I haven’t been interacting with my villagers actively, I used to send my villagers Letters all the time, but I don’t think I’ve ever done it once in this new game, I don’t know what it is about them that makes me not want to talk to them, I love all of them especially the ones who have been in my game since the very beginning but I don’t know, if I play New Leaf I’m always talking to my favorite villager Medli and I interact with the other ones quite frequently but in New Horizons I can’t seem to find the energy to talk to them, I think it will be very exciting in the new update when they add back a lot of the New Leaf functionality to the villagers.
I don't really seek them out, unless I have to do a favour for a villager or something. Otherwise, I'll talk to them if I happen to walk near them or if they're indoors.
I was talking to them many times every day while I was working on getting the stamp for doing favors, but once I got it, I stopped talking to them much to all, except for when I was trying to get a photo from one of them. Then I would talk to those villagers and give them a gift every day.
Almost never and when I do you know I'm button mashing B like a mad man to get out of there asap. It's pretty unfortunate because I used to love talking to my villagers in NL all the time.
Something about the dialog in NH is irritating, it just repeats too often I guess? That and they're always complaining that I haven't talked to them in months because I tt a lot so not great conversation.
I said 2-4 times a day. I'm still hunting for permanent residents and I like collecting photos. I also have an island journal that I inconsistently update and will post favorite conversations with dumb drawings.
I enjoy being an emotion terrorizer to my villagers like for example:
usually once a day, once every other day if i'm feeling tired and don't want to play for long. i only do it for tasks, i don't read what they say because i've seen it all before. i don't actively seek them out anymore either unless they're new (so, only skye currently) and i'm trying to get their picture. otherwise, i'll just spam whoever i run into or who's home during one lap around the island.
About once per day, but sometimes I don't talk to all of them. I'll also talk to them again if I see them thinking about something, find a lost item of theirs, etc.
Usually once or twice per day. I don't always gift them unless I have something I want them to put in their house, or sometimes I have a leftover apple to give them.
i talk to each of my villagers at least once per day, and complete any and all favours that they ask of me. i also occasionally gift them clothing that i think they’ll look nice in, and celebrate their birthdays with them and bring them a present. however, if it’s a villager whose photo i’m trying to get, i do everything that i do for my other villagers, but i talk to them 2+ times each day instead of just once, and i gift them wrapped non-native fruit or giant clams every day until i get their photo. : )
I don't play often because of the everlasting burnout and only when i get a chance to, although i only talk to a few or all or unless if its for nook miles.
