It's taken me a couple of years and will power not to buy certain collectibles to accumulate the amount I do have ha.

Is there a secret I'm not aware of? xD Or is there some kinda of TBT Mafia Illuminati made up of rich TBT'ers ha.

Personally, I sell off all of my bells for IGB every time I reach 100 tbt. I have little need for tbt, and all of the need for igb XD

posting doesn't hurt but it isn't how you get rich haha. (not that I am, I spend it all everytime I have enough for a collectible I want lol) you pretty much have to sell stuff, whether it be villagers, items in acnl, art, collectibles, signatures, etc. especially collectibles-if you catch a restock you can sell them for a lot of profit depending on which one it is!

some people are rich because they used to sell stuff worth real $ like games, but that's not allowed anymore. I'm kind of glad about that honestly, it's a good thing that you can't buy tbt with real money.

i don't rly do a lot with tbt except for buying stuff and villagers in animal crossing. i've basically just been posting. if i wouldn't have spent anything ever i'd have maybe around 1k more tbt than i do

Other collectibles as well. But that depends on the collectible.

I think all of those people just buy stuff from the restock and resell them. I have over 20k TBT in the atm and 15k of it is just from the recent restock and I still haven't sold everything I got from that single restock yet.

there's also snipers. snipers are people who buy lots of stuff from restocks and end up selling ALL of it.
