This game came out during the time of a pandemic, so many people (including myself) put in many, many hours into it for understandable reasons.
I tend to keep the game open pretty much all day, and pick it up on and off during the day, so maybe.....4-ish hours in total? Or maybe I'm just fooling myself...it's more like 6-7 hours!
So yeah, how many hours do you play the game? Do you play daily?
i've got about 1,350 hours on animal crossing so far
i got the game when it come out and i don't really do much because of lockdown so i tend to play nonstop all day, i've had a few days where i don't play but if i start playing i can't stop lol
to be fair though, i've reset 7 times now so i always find something to do on it
I have 970 hours on my first island, and about 35 on my second island. I play about 4-5 hours most days, but sometimes I only play for 1 hour. It's not because of the pandemic though, I would have close to this amount of playtime anyways because I always stay inside and play games all day. My life is the exact same as it's been for the last 5 years.
So I just reached 200 hours according to my switch which is a LOT for me! More than I had on New Leaf. So I've been playing for around an hour a day since the game launched.
But I didn't touch the game at all during September and barely during August. I played all day long though when it just came out haha.
I got the game fairly at the beginning of the the first Quarantine aaaaand since them I have 640 hours ....
To be honest with this whole COVID situation I am kind of locked at home so I have nothing to fill my hours with so I am spending kind of a lot in the game, specially now since I am redesigning some of the areas in my town by terraforming and decorating so yeah, on a daily basis a pick the game quite a lot
i typically tend to at least get my daily stuff done every day, whether i'm planning on spending too much time in the game after that or not. i have 335 hours logged into the game altogether, and i was gifted the switch a little bit before my birthday in june.
when i'm decorating i tend to spend a lot of time in the game; but i'm trying to space out how much time i'm putting into my island for other things in my life.
About 1-4 hours, on and off throughout the day. Not like I don't have things I could be doing in game, just been kind of lazy to do them. I still find other things I can do in an hour or so which is nice. I use to play for hours on end and have accumulated 1,245 hours in total according to my Switch because of that. Now I just balance playing this game with reading, drawing and watching shows in my free time.
I use to play daily for like the first three months after release day (usually four plus hours a day) especially during complete covid lock downs. Now that places have been opened back up, I usually only play when I can find time and never for more than two hours or so. If I didn’t have real life adulting to deal with, I definitely would be playing a lot more.
If I just do the daily stuff and nothing time-consuming like Gulliver comes up, about an hour or less across all my characters. More (sometimes a lot more) if I'm in the mood to build.
I usually play about 1h/day in the m’ornant, and I never skipped a day since I got the game (mid August). If we’re entering a new month, I’ll play more during the afternoon/evening to get the new critters, or whenever I’m in the mood for trading! I try not to rush things though, because I want to enjoy the game as long as possible.
I have played the game for 255h.
It depends if my sister is doing something that takes up a lot of time to do, then she will be on the game more daily. She last played the game in August and never returned, and I checked her island not so long ago and it looks like everything is done besides her house. So that's my guess of why she basically left the game besides saying that it's boring.
During the weekdays, not much. I may log in briefly just to check on diy bottle/villagers crafting, check which special npc is visiting, and shop (10-15mins prolly).
During the weekends...I pretty much leave the games on and play on/off as I do things around the house. So, I don't really have a good estimate on actual time. Several hours for sure tho.
I definitely think trades/community events were the biggest time consumers for me especially in NL...I definitely have done much less than I did in NL for various reasons. But trades probably would be a significant portion of my time spent over the weekends when I am playing.
I haven't played in a long time but when I did play I'd usually play for about 1-3 hours every day. Sometimes if I really got into terraforming or farming for something it'd be a lot longer. Or if I just reset my island I'd pretty much play obsessively until I got caught up lol. I think I have about 390 hours in ACNH which honestly isn't a whole lot, at least not compared to the super faithful players.
I've always had a bad habit of resetting my islands due to being unhappy with little details... I plan on playing again soon and making a new island to keep things fresh so here comes a few more hundred hours ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Being active on the forums definitely helps with staying interested in the game.
I used to play it non-stop but now I only do my dailies on all 3 characters which amounts to less than 2 hours a day. I'm also really busy irl with moving houses so that's probably not helping since I don't really have much time to play anything more than that
Depends on the day. If it’s a work day I usually play two hours. One hour in the morning finding mushrooms and checking on villagers and shops . One hour at night trying to find new DIY’s, new sea creatures. I save most of my projects for my off days since I have more time.
currently? maybe 10 minutes. at the peak of my playtime I'd be on and off throughout the entire day but I'd definitely be on for like 3 hours at least each day. I'd love to start playing more again but with school I just haven't had the time, and I also haven't had any motivation lol. I do want to reset at some point so that'll probably bring my playtime way back up but for now I'm not doing much!
