How much space can I have between Fire Pit and Hammock?

Trying to re-arrange my campsite area but in a non-tt town so want to get it right first time! Ideally I'd like the hammock in front of the fire pit, with two spaces between, like this:

FFF
FFF
FFF
---
---
HHH

but unsure if this will be enough space - does anyone know for sure? Please and thank you!

place the hammock first, and than the fire pit.
it should be one space between them now

Really?! Is this since the WA update? I've only come back recently and had no idea it affected PWPs? I thought PWPs always had to have at least two spaces between them but would be awesome if you're right!

normally it is 2 spaces.
but i think if you build them in this order it should work with 1 space in between them

No, it's still two spaces in between any two pwps. The update didn't change that part of it.

Okay thanks! I won't risk trying the one space thing considering I don't think I've ever seen that before, and if it doesn't work I'd then have to wait till I'd destroyed a hammock I'd rebuilt in order to place the fire pit!
