How much of a thread do you actually read before posting?

I'll read the OP and usually a few responses if it's an interesting enough topic. I generally read a few after I post as well.

I usually read the OP and that's about it. Sometimes I look at other comments but I usually give my comment first before I read others.

It depends a lot on the topic!
Eg this kind of casual conversation the title, OP, oldest and the most recent comments.
If it’s something I’m more into for example talking about a game I like/a more serious discussion I’ll read through it all.
