How much money is your town worth?

My town was worth 907 million bells. I can't remember what my catalog was worth. But I carried over my catalog so that I could reorder furniture. I also transferred a lot of my furniture to another town that I have and was able to bring it back to my new town.

When you recreate your town, do you keep the bells you had before?

I'm too scared to check since I'm probably gonna mash buttons too fast and accidentally restart my town (even though I'm planning on it after I collect the amiibo cards for my dreamies)

Edit: Eh I yoloed. My town is worth 72,615,079 bells and my catalog is an extra 9,765,962 bells
