How many trees is too many?

My villagers keep getting “lost in the woods,” but I wanted a woodland theme island. What is the max number of trees you can have while also having five stars?

i could be mistaken, but to my knowledge ( so please take this with a grain of salt ) there is no limit.

plus maybe ( and i'm just trying to be helpful here )
it helps if you put water or a bush or a fence/hedges, so they can't get lost.
