How many scallops does it usually take you to find Pascal?

Never had him not be on the first scallop.
I typically never swim near the net so maybe that has to do with it? Who knows.​

So far, I've gotten him on the first scallop 4/5 times and he has given me 2 pearls, a mermaid dress, and a recipe. The only time I didn't get him on the first scallop was July 2nd, where I got him on like my 5th or 6th!

So far 1 or 2! I don't think you can "miss" him, he auto talks to you when you find a scallop, btw! I was worried about that when I got my first scallop.

First day took me 3. The last two times, I got him on the first scallop. I'm waiting until tonight to get him because I'm missing some of the creatures.

2 days I got him on my first, but yesterday I had a full inventory on my first.. He showed up on the 3rd

idk about the net thing, i’ve had him pop up on the other side of the net a lot and he just goes under it.

So far I've had Pascal appear every time I got my first scallop of the day.

Since y'all usually find him on the first scallop I have a question.
Was the scallop near the net or was it further away? I wonder if the location where you find the scallop has to do with how likely he is to show up

I was in the bottom left corner on the map for the scallop he didn't show up for; not in sight of the net. I've wondered the same thing!

Usually just one (4/5 times), but yesterday on my main character it took four scallops (and an hour of diving to find that many). Boy, that was annoying.

I've had him swim over on the first scallop each time.

Same here. 5/5 times it's been on the first scallop.

He usually shows up after the first scallop (I have 2 characters and its like this on both). I think only once so far he only appeared after the second scallop.

I've found the scallops in diff places each time too, one was really close to the beach, one was really close to the airport, etc.

Usually 1-2, but most of the times it would be. However, on the first day he appeared on my 2nd scallop.

One every time. I always make sure that I have an extra space when I go diving for scallops

It took me 4 times once, but every other time it was the first one. I'm just happy people are starting to understand that their game's not bugged because Pascal did something other than the majority response lol

On my main character it's been first scallop every time. Omi tried with my second character today and it was the second one.
My pockets were full when I got the first scallop though. Does that make a difference?
