i'm curious !

i've personally owned 3 mobile phones: i had a samsung flip phone when i was 11, i got an iphone 4s when i was 13, and my i bought my current phone, an iphone se, at 15. i don't plan on buying a new phone as long as my se stays alive :)

I stayed away from cell phones for as long as I could. I have a strange fear of talking on the phone and hearing a phone ring instantly heightens my anxiety. Even with texting, I don't like the idea of people being able to reach me anytime, anyplace. Having a cell phone takes away my buffer zone.

So I only got one a few years ago when it came as a freebie with my husband's upgrade. I still have the same one and don't plan on getting a new one until this one dies.

I originally said “3” but I realized that it’s actually 5 when you count the phones I’ve taken back to the store.
  1. Droid Razr. Got this the first time our family all bought smartphones. Had it for all of 24 hours before realizing that I liked my mom’s droid 4 better.
  2. Droid 4. I consider this my first phone, and it’s by far my favorite. I loooooovvved the pullout keyboard. I’d still be using this baby today if it didn’t get so slow in its final days.
  3. iPhone 5s. My first Apple product. I love the iOS interface and the iTunes backup. It makes it easy to transfer my pics and everythingwhen it’s time for upgrades. I also liked how small it was because it fit perfectly in my hand.
  4. iPhone 10s. Liked this phone a lot, but only had it for around a month because the store screwed up and I had to exchange it for a newer one.
  5. iPhone 11s. Current phone. I like how bright and vibrant the screen is and how high quality the camera is. I also have to admit that I like the wide angle lens. It’s a little big for my hands, but having a pop socket helps. I also love all the internal storage it has, because I don’t have a cloud plan and my other phones were always running out of storage. I’ll probably use this for the next 3-5 years until it dies.

Nexus 5 -> OnePlus 3 -> Pixel 2 -> iPhone XR
I didn't get my Nexus 5 until I was out of high school. All of these phones were pretty great, except the Pixel 2.

four, although i'm not certain what age i got each phone at. i started with a pink LG flip phone around the time everyone my age was getting a phone, only i was a little late to the party. then i got a dark pink-ish blackberry when they were, like, the most popular phone and everyone was on bbchat or whatever it was called. think i was late to that, too, though.

third phone was a samsung of some kind but i don't remember which make/model. fourth is my current phone, which i've had since around july of 2016. i bought it largely so i could play pokemon go since my phone at the time didn't have a gyroscope and couldn't have the game. i was due for an upgrade anyway and am now too but this phone works perfectly fine and i prefer having a physical home button etc. rather than the Entire phone being touchscreen, as is the case with most current models.

I didn’t get a smartphone until the 4 came out. Before that it was an old Motorola flip phone.

iPhone 4: My first Real phone. It was so long ago I don’t remember it.

iPhone 6: Such a big upgrade from the 4. It cracked when I dropped it on the gymnasium floor at a school event. Oops. Served as a temporary replacement while my 7 was dead.

iPhone 7: Used it forever until Nov. 2019 when it flat out died on me. I don’t know why. 🤷

iPhone SE (2nd Gen.): My current phone that I love to death, with an amazing chip.

ive gotten 4 phones over the past 3-4 years??

i got an iphone 6s when i was 12
i got a 7 when i was 13
i got a 7+ a few months after that i think.. (rose gold)
that one went to my grandma so i got a black 7+ which was my dad's old phone before giving it to me, i currently have it right now

my current phone is slowly dying on me, it's like 4 years old 😭 i really want a new one, atleast a regular x because i feel like this phone wont last much longer lol

A flip phone in 5th grade so my mom could call me to lmk if the door was open before she left for work
An Android I don’t remember what brand in 7th grade
iPhone 4 around Sophomore or Junior year of high school
iPhone 7 in January 2018
iPhone 11 for my early bday present this year :0

didn’t realize I had this many phones

l only own 1 phone because l take care of it, never any problems with it, and it's still my first phone. Only 1 year old.

Two phones. My first one was my mom’s older one, which she gave me to use for awhile and then there’s my current one. My current phone isn’t the best sadly... 😔

Just my iPhone SE. I’ve had it since 2016, and it’s still kicking (albeit with a battery that’s weakening)! I really don’t like replacing things like phones and tablets if I don’t have to.

I'm the first person to have voted "none". I just haven't had any really good reasons to get one yet. The rest of my family has mobile phones, but not me.

I didn't get my first phone until I started high school, which was more than 4 years ago. It was a Samsung Galaxy S7 which stopped working after 2 years. Right now I currently have an iPhone X with a OLED screen leak on the top left corner. I should probably get the screen replaced at some point.

6 phones.

1. Nokia 3310 (middle school)
2. Motorola Rzr (first half of highschool)
3. Those slide-y keyboard phones (rest of highschool)
4. qwerty keyboard phone (community college)
5. Some kind of prepaid phone (college)
6. Motorola moto g8 (now)

I haven't had a phone. I'm probably going to end up with a flip phone when I get a phone, which I don't mind because I find them more fun to use since I find it satisfying to slam it shut and actually use buttons when typing.

Around 15 years of being a mobile phone owner
Pantech 1410 - Boy did I love that phone, it was my very first phone and I loved playing Prince of Persia on it 😂
