honestly i have both i have swords and guns swords are better if used right i would prefer to use a sword because no reload and its all about technique and speed with sword if you are wise wih a sword then you are unstoppable i own a 12 gauge and 2 pistols and i own katana swords and a sword that looks like a pirate sword and i own alot of knifes. but if i had to pick one i would use a sword its better and has long as you have the correct stance and know what your doing than a gun cant beat that

but traceuser, what if your assailant already has a ready gun? Wouldn't you rather have a ready gun than a sword?

good point but if u draw for a gun no matter how fast you are your dead but if you use a sword you could draw out the sword and slice him before he fires the trigger depending on the distance between you and the assassin
