How many of you guys actually own guns?

I have a gun....... Actually it's not mine, it's my family's. My parents are scared that we might get a burgular or somone raping us...... >____<

I want a katana too. I'm gonna steal my cousins!

All ranged weapons fail, If I had it my way guns, missles, etc. would never have been created and spears and swords would dominate once again.

My mother owns 2.

I know how to work them. In case of emergency.

You scare me kid. Nobody should personally own guns, thats not a good thing.
well listen guns for self defense would it be fair if a dude came in your house with a gun and points at you or demands money or points it to someone you love what would you do sit there and watch your family die cold man

The problem with that argument is that the guy who hypothetically kills my family has a gun.

How? Because they're legal to personally own.

The fact is, that the chances of that happening are much less than when guns are legal. No?

well your right it would be less likely but this is a free country and say the didnt have a gun it was a sword or knife and threaten to slit a loved ones throat than what watch them die or fire a gun

So basically, you're saying that if guns are made illegal then so should knives? No, guns are made purely for the purpose of killing. Knives, et cetera are made for different purposes, and therefore are not as good of a weapon as a gun. Either way, anything made solely for the purpose of murder should not be legal. No matter what.
