How many of the same personality type can you have in your town?

I have so many dreamies it's unreal...haha So I was wondering how many of the same can you have? Like..can you have two peppy, and two cranky? Or is it usually one of each??

You can have all one personality if you really wanted to. But that would be pretty boring, dialogue-wise.

Technically, you can have 10 peppy or 10 cranky if you want that. Most of us has probably two or more normal villagers.
