About 300mil, I'm trying to save up as I want the billionaire badge (not sure what it's actually called)
I got it all from selling Tbt/turnips/giveaway towns
It's more than I'm ever going to need or use so I'll be trying to sell some of it back for Tbt soon most likely, hoping to get my badge first though
Actually, you only need 100 million for the gold bell badge. Idk why it says you got a billion bells

I haven't traded TBT for IGB yet, but what I do is stalk market and selling perfect fruit at other towns

as Sugarella mentioned, you only need 100 Million for the gold badge for bell-saving. the nice thing is the monthly interest when you get that much in your account!!
I earned about half of mine from trading game items on this and other forums, and the other half from trading my tbt forum bells here for IGB...

I pass the billion bell mark along time ago. Thanks to friends having high turnip prices on Sundays I was able to reach the total fast. Also having a spare town that I can buy and sell turnip in one day helps. Made 80 million in 2 days.
The rest came from bug hunting and perfect fruit sold at premium. Think I'm close to 3 billion bells. Made sure to divide the bells up so they don't stay in one or two towns.

doesnt the ABD account cap at 1 Billion? or are you talking british billions?

Yes it caps just before a billion. I just keep about 150 to 200 million plus in each account. I have extra towns and they all have the badges/ABM.
I didn't want to leave 999 million bells in the main town players account. Read posts where players lost their game so I split the bells to be safe.

Just I repose to earlier post - I still didn't get the gold badge even after reaching 100mil, or 300 even. Somebody on this site told me about getting the billionaire badge you have to have a full bank account. Which is what I have been aiming for

I am in awe of how much money you guys have. I have just over 3 million and I'm excited just to have that. LOL. I had just over 3.5 million but I just bought a ton of turnips this morning. Hoping to reach 4 million this week! But maybe not because I need to upgrade my house...
