Personally, I turn on games sometimes that don't require much of a long commitment or focus. (Mario Kart, Sports Games, Rhythm Games, etc).

But when playing something longer or that has a story, more likely I'd rather commit to that one at a time. I don't like watching more than one TV series at a time either. The problem occurs when I'm halfway through a game and there's something I want to play more. So I either drop the first game or feel like rushing so I can play something else.

I really don't want to play anything above two at a time. It takes away from other hobbies and becomes too much of a time sink.

I usually only have the time and energy to focus on 1 game at a time, but right now I’m challenging myself a little and trying to focus on 2: Cozy Grove and Splatoon 3. CG is a slower-paced game that you can only really play for a couple hours each day, even when you have all characters and features unlocked, so that gives me a little bit of wiggle room to be able to play other games as well!

I’ll maybe challenge myself further in the future to try and focus on 3 games at a time when I get MK8, but that’ll probably be a bit away since I want to focus on learning how to play Splat first lol. I also don’t want to spend too much of my time and energy on games, so focusing on 1-2 big games at a time and maybe playing a more casual game or 2 in-between is probably best for me.

I can focus on only one game at a time; if I try doing more than that, usually I end up dropping one or more of the games. I have ADHD and it has gotten worse over the years, I used to be able to do more but I’m having trouble doing more than one thing (and not just video games). I also have OCD and when I fixate on something (interest wise), usually it is only one thing too (or at least more recently). It is a little frustrating since I have a lot I need to finish, including some replays. At the same time, concentrating on only one helps me enjoy it more.

Five or six games at a time most of the time unless there’s one specific game I’m really addicted to and want to spend all my time on. It’s a slow and inefficient way to play video games and because of that most of my collection is unfinished.

Ideally I’d play two at a time, but my attention span is horrendous because of my ADHD and I get burned out on whatever I’m playing if I don’t do more.

Usually I focus on one game but then end up forgetting about the rest of the games I have. I was mainly focused on NH. Right now I’m trying to play Pokemon Violet and Hogwarts Legacy. I just picked up Mario kart so will play that in between. We shall see how this goes.

I'd say 3-5 games max. If there's a title I really like, I'll put more hours in there and the other games are played more casual. I will try to all 100% them too.

I have really good muscle memory for controls. Originally I was going to host 5 different games for TBTWC but I knocked off two since I value sleep more than gaming. I just like having variety at hand.

I'm usually juggling around 2-4 games at a time. I don't count gacha games in this, interestingly. Only one RPG at a time, but anything else is free game. It's fun, but I find myself debating if I should play x or z or even q at times.

Way too many. I jump around from game to game so much I can't seem to focus on one for a long period of time. So it results in me not finishing many games because my progress in each one so slow. I'd like to be able to focus on 2-3 at a time but it's hard

Not counting social games, I tend to have one game in progress on my Switch and another on my PS5 at any one time.

I focus on one game at a time, and may play ones that don't require a big time commitment/focus/engagement alongside it (such as Pokemon battles, Slay the Spire, etc.) I prefer to only focus on 1 main game at a time, I like to be immersed fully and usually end up looking forward specifically to playing that - and when I'm finished with it, am happy to move on to the next one. I don't like splitting time/attention between multiple 'main' games, as it'll just lead to me not enjoying either as as much as I could have.

I don't really commit to finishing one game before moving to a different one. I go through periods of "obsession" sorta, usually when I get a new game or really want to replay an old one. I just play that one game for the most part until I get bored, finish (and 100%) a game or get a new "obsession." Like I got outer worlds and played it exclusively until I got bored and haven't been back. It's been a couple years now and I still haven't beat it.

The games I play don't require much focus. My favorites are Mario Kart and sports games. I usually only focus on one specific game at a time, considering for the latter, I play franchise mode. I'll be getting that new College Football game when it releases, and that will be my focus for a long while. In the predecessor (NCAA Football 14) which released a decade ago, I played all the way into 2060 on my Dynasty Mode.

lately been focusing on 2 games at once so that i don't get burnt out on either. though i did forget the background of undertale whilst doing so, oh well rip

I tend to fixate, so I'm usually playing 1-2 games at a time. I like to play games with my partner, so if we're playing Destiny 2 or Pokemon or something else concurrently, then that's typically one of the games, and then I'll have an "active" game that I'm playing on my own on the Switch. I really do not enjoy having my attention pulled between many different games. That's a great way for me to completely forget a few of them and then get sad and overwhelmed later when I want to return to the games but I'm not totally sure how.

In addition, there are games like Mario Kart that have more of a party game feel and don't really have any plot or sense of individual progression. I don't play them often, but sometimes we'll play a few rounds of that, or I might play something similar with a friend. That's not an "active" game in my mind because I don't have to keep track of anything outside the gaming session, and I'm not usually thinking about or discussing the game before or after in a serious way.

I play elder scrolls online / animal crossing new horizons / new leaf and wild world daily. I always buy games on steam and never play them lol

Usually I can only play 1 game at a time. But occasionally I'll have 1 more deep focus game along with 1 casual game. But I'm not able to go back and forth between 2 games that require a lot of focus. It's more fun to focus on one and when I finish it or get bored, switch to another game then.

2 or 3. I usually have one or two on PC and one on Switch. The Switch with cartridges and the way it works is kinda cumbersome to constantly be switching through games so I prioritize one game at a time on it, but on PC I can do multiple. lol I try not to do too much, though.

I think I usually play about 3-4 games at any one time.
I'm usually playing one game to zone out to (Animal Crossing or Pokemon), playing a co-op game with my husband (right now it's Divinity 2), and then I'll play either a single player RPG, a rogue-like, survival horror, or platformer on my own, or with my husband watching (currently playing Mario RPG).

Usually I'll just focus on 1 game at a time, typically a game with some form of story, since I find it easier to focus my energy towards one game, fully experience it, and finish it before moving on to another game. However, there will be times where I play a second game that is a bit more open ended and/or casual (like New Horizons) just because I feel like playing something that doesn't require too much effort on my part. I don't want to focus on any more games at once beyond that, lol.

Usually one per device, which include both my laptop at boarding school and my better laptop at home. My old laptop is pretty used and can only play indie games, my new laptop can play AAA games until like 2018 I guess.

At home I do usually play two games ar a time though. One big AAA title and then small indie games I can play for a bit and come back to.
