How many fertilizers work per day?

Does anyone know how many fertilizer you're allowed to plant in one day?
I planted over 10 of them, but only one worked.

Is the limit set to 1 per day?

Also is there a good setup, to grow a lot of the same flower at once?

The fertilizer section is incomplete atm because I haven't had a chance to test any fertilizer theories because I don't have fertilizer, but I am working on that. I will update the article when I am able to test these theories.

Thanks for the blog post, I didn't know about placing flowers like that.

I always lay my flowers in a checkerboard pattern, has the best results in my opinion.
As for the fertilizer question, I have not unlocked them yet so I cannot help :/
