How long have been playing NL, do you tt?

I just started playing it on the 13th. Though I've been curious about it for a few years.And I usually solo it. I usually use multiplayer for checking out other people's shops.

About 3/4 years I believe. And yes I tt whenever it suits me :-)

I try to be as vanilla as possible when I play AC games. However for the most part I do enjoy TT at some periods of time when I want to trigger specific events within a short period of time. But, once again, there's just a certain happy feeling to waiting to come home from work to see what happened in my Town or waking up to do things early in the morning. It's a simple thing. :3

ive only actually been playing NL since the end of march, so only around 3 months :o! i definitely dont TT because im too scared that ill screw it all up and its too much of a hassle, and 9 times out of 10, im playing solo (mainly because i only know like 2 friends who use acnl regularly)

I've been playing since I bought the 3ds, first game that didn't come with it. Sorry I'm bad with dates but the ACNL release was the big reason I got the console. I'm not into cycling and getting villagers out of there at an accelerated speed, so I don't time travel. I tried it with negative results when I was newer at the game, too.

I got the game on May 31 2014, and I only TT to get a villager into boxes for someone ^^; I only have one town, and while I have been trading more lately, I usually play solo otherwise ^^;

I've been playing since last April 2015, restarted my town in May 2015 and have kept it since. A few months ago, I got my second town but recently restarted it this week. I don't time travel (the only exception is if plot resetting takes me several days but that's rare) and tend to play day by day.

I usually play solo but will often play with my boyfriend to visit each other's towns. Occasionally, I'll have friends visit or I go visit them to help each other out. I do a lot of trades on here so the forum really helps when you're looking for certain villagers or items.

Since release. June 9th 2013, multiple towns and multiple cartridges. Even multiple systems. xD

Yes very good advice, as someone who fell behind and wanted to play catch up by using event dates and tourneys to guide me I always wait or go to a day of a villager turn down to move before moving ahead on which next date I have an events list for the year someone else will ask leaving me free to again slowly play catch up or leap to irl if have fallen too too far due to new town or multi towns or just life hiatus. Yes please remember if you tt your last play date and to move ahead on a day after a turned down move out ping..that for adding this.

Also a side comment about be happy with one town it is a little late on my end and I love the, all dearly separately the town I started with before I even knew of this site in 2013 is going strong some villagers have changed but I just relocated them to other towns. As I know when you have one completed dream town and want to experience a different style and characters is not always a bad idea to have a second copy to let people come and go or obtain more dreams am not against people with multis I even have a second da that was a gift so I could go back and forth between my towns a nice touch so have had that for a year and a half but towns I started at new year still new did fall way behind as I was moving up slowly my old towns rather than hoping way ahead...however I am at the point of my birthday in all towns and the time it would take to get from event to event irl to real time in each I will be in fall again which I just went through to get to Jan 2016 so yes after my birthday the dream filled towns take a safe leap to irl and the new ones will get played to the point of catch up as well so I can play them naturally as intended but it is different for everyone...some people have a lot of time, some multis, some in school, some jobs, some just busy life stuff, I say play it how it feels right and happy for you but yes be careful how you tt especially if it's your only town then again if it is you may not Need to unless it's from day to day as you've done all you can and are behind already or will be. It can be hard to try to play never miss a day without falling way out of synch. Thanks for all the various responses. I see New Leaf as a game that every copy and player is different and I see that more now. Funny my nephew 10 just decided he wanted a 3ds he wanted nothing of it at Xmas when I showed him mine lol but he asked my sister to ask me why I had more than one same game and she had him ask me I think he got it, I will likely gift him a copy along with whatever primary game he wants so he can try it...but yes I think after a few months for me it was 3 when I got town 2 then I got a cycler as a gift but used it to move around my characters and it became a town now I have a town with goals I feel it goes quicker if I leave out the second or alt character except in my forever town..my first.
I tried reading your comment, but I really don't understand it due to the lack of punctuation. I
wanted to let you know I don't have anything against people with multiple times, I just feel like it's unnecessary (for me).

I started playing when new leaf first came out for like a year and a half. Then in 2014 I stopped due to losing my 3ds. Now I just startwd my town this month and have been doing a bit of time traveling to get villagers out and get my dreamies in. Tting has also helped me open shops and stuff along the way so that's nice. I will continue to tt a bit to help develop my town as I have great images in my head for it to look like!(: This site has made me interact more within the game and wifi. I trade with people and stuff but I don't really play club tortimer with people. Especially after hearing about many horror stories! :o

I've been playing new leaf for about a year now and I time travel way too much...

I've been playing NL since February 2015. I tt all the time mostly for furniture sets and other collectibles :3 Also, I can only have 1 town since I got the new 3ds and bought NL through the nintendo shop :c Kind of sad but maybe I can get a cheaper ds one day to have multiple towns.

I've been playing for about a year? It took me a really long time to ever get around to buying a 3ds aha. I used to time travel a lot, but I felt like it made me get burnt out really quick.. Now I only tt if I miss a few days in a row and want to go back to the last day I played, because I get really paranoid that something happened to my flowrrs/villagers.

I played it for a while when it first came out, then stopped for a while. I am getting interested in playing again. I tt now to keep villagers from moving if I haven't played in a while since I got a lot of ones I like in trades on this forum.

Been playing for a couple of days on new leaf. Restarted today, honestly I wasn't going to, at first. But this town, it's a themed town and I feel like I need to TT to set it all up, adding villagers houses to the right spots, ect.
It would be much more difficult if I didn't, so I do.
But if it wasn't a themed town I wouldn't.

i bought the game when it first came out and played for quite a while, then i guess i got bored and stopped playing as much. i still checked on my town occasionally though.
now that it's summer i decided to start a second town and i'm working on developing it again. i TT sometimes because i'm impatient ahaha ;w;
