I'm trying to plot reset Stitches. I know where I want his house to be, but he won't put his house there >.< How long does it take for you to find that perfect spot?

I was plot resetting for zucker for maybe about 30 minutes. I settled for a better spot then what I expected

That's probably what I'm gonna do too; Have him in a different spot that will hopefully work. It takes too long ;n;

I normally don't plot reset. But I did plot reset for Merengue because I didn't want her to be in a horrible spot I spent like 15 minutes or so making sure she didn't move into a bad spot ^.^

I have Merengue too and I messed up the plot reset ;-; She isn't in a horrible spot, but her house is in one of my path aisles xD

I messed up a bit with her too, Zucker and Tia both plotted right next to each other (what luck!) and Merengue sits one tile above the line of houses messing up their perfect line XD It bothers me just a little bit~

On average about half an hour, if I want them in a specific place. Sometimes I get them on the first reset. I think the longest I've tried plotting a villager was 9 days...

I don't know, I don't usually keep track on time when I plot reset, but the longest i've ever plot resetted was 1 day.

Not long time, from 5-20 minutes maybe. I don't plot reset to certain places, I just want to make sure that villagers won't move in front of my town hall or my house or something.

I usually try resetting for specific spots or at least, a fairly good spot so... Usually an hour or two, maybe 30 minutes if I'm lucky. Everyone just seems to love trying to move right in front of my house...

Before putting Yellow Benches everywhere: Around 1 hour to 7 days...:(

After putting Yellow Benches everywhere: 5 minutes at the most!

My longest was probbly like an hour. When I first started the second town where there was empty spots everywhere .__.

Putting PWPs in a spot where you absolutely don't want any villagers to go to actually helps a lot. Like the spot you want for permanent PWPs like cafe or police station, or near bridges (so when you re build bridges with new designs)..

I recently plot reset for Muffy two nights ago and only took me 2 tries to plot in a good spot.. She was unusually nice to me, haha

Uhhh.. When I first started building my town, I wanted my villagers to be in a specific part and they never went there. Never. So it took me 2-3 days to get them somewhere not so bad. Buuut then Chief made me realize that there was a pretty good zone where my other villagers were, so now it takes me a few tries. I'm a perfectionist though.. So I need houses to be perfectly aligned. It sucks, but now that most of my dreamies are settled, it's getting easier and looking pretty good c:

Buuuut.. As soon/If I get Marshal it's going to suck, because I think that I'll have to delete the mule where I have all my paths. Greaaat. (but she has a great spot that could be used by my squirelly dreamie, so..)

The longest it's taken me was about 7 or 8 hours.
It usually only takes me about 30 minutes or so to get them into the perfect place though.

I usually have to reset for a couple of hours/days, and even then they never end up in the exact perfect spot. I always end up compromising.
I spent about a month resetting for Zell. :p
Resetting is not fun when there's only one perfect place for new villagers. It's much easier if you have a few different options.

Took me an hour yesterday but I finally just gave in and let them place their house close to where I wanted it.

Depends on luck, from a few mins to 8 hours. I never get the exact perfect spot however.
