how long does it take for a username change?

i bought a username change item thing with seashells, and i posted in the Contact The Staff section about the new username i wanted. i'm just curious, how long until the change goes through? i'm not in a rush like i can wait, i'm genuinely just wondering

It says it can take up to seven days. It might take longer, I’m not sure. I think it depends on how busy the staff are.
