How long did it take you to complete the Pave set?

Started around 1:00 PM. Finished around 8:30 PM. It took around 7 hours and 30 minutes. Wow. I did pick up on the pace once I found this method. I'll tell you all about it to those who are still searching:
Don't waste all your time searching for individual feathers of the same color. Instead, just pick up any feathers you see. If you find feathers that Pave needs on the way, (As in, not searching specifically but stumbling upon them instead) put them in your house or drop them in a place you'll remember, (ex: Next to the Plaza Tree) just as long as they aren't in your inventory. After that, play games or trade with the villagers using the feathers that Pave doesn't need, and once you get a feather you do need from trading or playing a game, put them in whatever spot you picked to store your feathers.. Once you have three, take them to Pave. This is far less time-consuming than searching for the feathers you need individually, and it's better than risking feathers you DO need with villagers.

8 hours played it during school all day and polished off with a sweet trade to get that floor accursed pav?!!
Aww that's so nice of you!! Yes I'm actually still looking for them..after another 3 hours since my post otz And it would be awesome if you happen to have either the chair or the sofa (or both XD). I have many repeats (wall, chest, end table, floor, clock etc) if you are looking for any of them.
Pave is literally driving me nuts lol
Complete????? I'm still trying for 2 pieces. Multiples of many. Tried playing just one town but it wasn't lucky. Tried second town and had no success getting missing pieces. Lots of feathers and furniture on ground. There goes clean town rating.
I don't know how long it took me, but I'd wager a guess at 'TOO long'.
Apart from the 2 complete sets I managed (one for each town), I have repeats of the following:
Bookshelf (x2 spare)
Clock (1 spare)
Closet (x3 spare)
Sofa (x2 spare)
Table (x3 spare)
End Table (x3 spare)
Wall (x3 spare)
I ended up save-scumming for the last few pieces, he kept on giving me more tables and closets.
Demon bird, I'm lucky nobody wanted to move out the next day!

Around 4 hours, I wanted the complete set with 4 chairs, so it took a while before I received them. But in honesty the first few hours were really fun, feather hunting. Only that last chair seemed to take forever.

About an hour or two, I just purchased spares/received them from friends instead of putting up with finding these stupid feathers for the rude bird.
It took me four hours to get my first complete set and four more hours for two more sets. I needed one for my second town and since I had a lot of feathers left I decided to get another one for my sister. And now I'm really fed up with Pav?.
