🎃 How Have You Decorated: Pumpkin Carriage! 🎃

Hey, y’all! I’m looking for some inspiration on where to place my carriage and how to decorate around it! I’m sure there are plenty of people who’ve done it already, so go ahead and share your own decoration or share any ones you’ve found on Pinterest, Reddit, etc.

Hopefully I can get an idea of what I’d like to do with this and other furniture for autumn.

I did some TTing to grab most of the DIYs and get some pumpkins because I wanted my town decorated for Halloween over the entire month of October starting day 1. I know some people were disappointed, but I love the nh spooky series; I put up a ton of it already and will probably keep adding more.

I still want to experience the main event on the actual Halloween though. Unfortunately I guess that means I won't get my carriage for a while, but I'm really interested in what people who already have it come up with!

I did some TTing to grab most of the DIYs and get some pumpkins because I wanted my town decorated for Halloween over the entire month of October starting day 1. I know some people were disappointed, but I love the nh spooky series; I put up a ton of it already and will probably keep adding more.

I still want to experience the main event on the actual Halloween though. Unfortunately I guess that means I won't get my carriage for a while, but I'm really interested in what people who already have it come up with!

The Spooky series is better than the NL one for me! I hated the themed furniture, but this one has been a hit. I’m hoping the Harvest series will be good.

I’ve seen some people decorate with the white carriage version. They’d put out the little springy horses in front of it, which is soooo cute!

I was able to get some of the carriages through Nook's Island but my usage isn't the best. One's...randomly in my house, some are randomly thrown to the side of a path without thought, and the best one is the one I've placed on a cliff beside my big pumpkin patch. I haven't taken a picture of it, though. (I probably should've done that before posting this but oh well, I can always post that later if I do.)

I don't know how to get the photos off my Switch so I can post them here. But my use of the carriage isn't very special anyway.

I put an orange carriage near my haunted house and I have a monochrome Cinderella one in an area with trees and white flowers. I found them difficult to place because they are so big. I don't even have paths wide enough for one to drive on, lol.

I might eventually redo the area around Colton's house to be more impressive and grand looking since he's a prince. Then I could plan to park the monochrome carriage near his place.

While I haven’t unlocked the diy for the spooky carriage (I’m not TTing for it) I do have a proxy build set up for it. I’m putting it right by my gnome king’s soon-to-be palace!

I’m using the black fountain as a proxy for the carriage. Overall it’s a good idea to use a proxy if you don’t have the exact item yet.

I didn't know what to do with it actually. I knew it was large but it is chonky. I just used it as a visual element so that my guests could find me during this catalog event I did, lol.

I saw some people online post about how they put spring horses infront of the carriage which is super cute. I haven't seen much of other ideas yet. I don't have the carriage yet, I am waiting unless Nook's sells it to me. I plan on keeping mine orange and have some flowers by it. maybe all around it. Trees behind it and have the pumpkin table and chairs near it. I want it to be a chill area.

It isn't halloween so I don't have it yet.

I don't know what I'd do with it. It depends how plastic it looks, plus I don't think I could work it in anywhere.

It's not a real furniture item I could use.

I want one soo bad but haven’t gotten it yet.
At the entrance of my villager suburb I have fountain and I’m going to replace it with the pumpkin carriage. Pretty much just decorating the suburbs for Halloween

It would take some work but I think it would be cool if someone made custom designs for skid marks and a chalk body outline to make it look like at a crime scene where someone was hit by a vehicle. You know, your typical pumpkin carriage accident.

Then they could have the carriage sitting next to a tree stump by one of those fallen log benches so it looks like after swerving the carriage hit a tree and knocked it down.

You could also use Rover's suitcase and spread some scattered documents and socks (because they lay flat on the ground) around the area to make it look like the contents of the carriage were scattered after the impact.

I am a lot more optimistic about the harvest set now that I've seen the spooky set. I'm excited!

I don't have it yet, and I'm still not sure where it would fit in on my island. I'll definitely have to mull it over.

Hoping to find it in Nook's in the next couple days. Not sure how I'll use it, but it'd be nice to have before halloween. Also, wish we could use the garland on our fences. Seems silly that it's interior use only.

My current proxy build is a bit higher up on this page (as I haven’t obtained the carriage yet).
