Other than the fact that you're playing ACNL, has anything changed for you? Even a little?

For instance, sometimes I find myself doing the Shrunk Funk Shuffle to songs on the radio.

That, and sometimes it's hard to tell whether I'm talking about real people or my villagers- it's not my fault they have such 'human' names. "Oh, Ken invited me over today." "Ken from school?" "No, the chicken."

I also found out about the existence of all kinds of foods and drinks I didn't know existed- like peach nectar and b?che de No?l.

It's all little stuff, but y'know. I think it's been pretty good for me as a whole. How about you?

took my life away

i invested almost 800 hours into the game, which is about a month without stopping or
32 days.

Taught me different types of bugs and fish. The longhorn beetle actually started to appear in my house IRL. We couldn't figure out what it was until I found it in-game.

It takes up a few hours of my day. Plus, it gives me a chance to drink (and like) coffee! :)
I have many examples, but these are the two that I can think of off the top of my head.

Same. I have a book I need to read for my Summer project, but I haven't been reading it because of Animal Crossing. I don't know what it is about this game that makes me play it so much.

It hasn't really impacted on my life, I mean, it's just a game after all. I suppose it forced me to use my creativeness for the first time in ages, which is kind of a good thing. It gave me more inspiration to practice my art and music.

Edit: Oh wait!! How could I forget? It caused me to find TBT, and to meet lots of lovely friends. :) So I guess it has in a way.

All I ever do is play video games and watch videos online while playing them, so not much has changed. So far I have watched the first episode of Sailor Moon Crystal 300 times! I think I might....just....MIGHT...have a small problem.

Started drawing again and I've got more people to talk to. That's basically it.

Just playing the game in general helps me deal with work stress. It's a nice comfortable constant. No matter how bad things are with my job, things are always fine in my town.

Made working at a call center a lot more fun!

They let us play portable games, read, draw etc between calls. (We have an automatic dialer and sometimes there's a long gap between calls.) It's pretty awesome to be able to sit at work and lay down paths, do tours or hunt for bugs. Plus there's at least three or four other people at work who have ACNL and play their 3DSes at work too, so I get to streetpass a lot! It's a pretty sweet deal for what is otherwise a boring entry-level job.

Also, it's given me tons of artistic inspiration! <3

Well I now know more different types of bugs and fish. ^_^

Also I met two really good friends. One is even now one of my best friends. :)

My girls both draw with me now :) We aim for daily but only manage it a couple of days per week. We draw whichever villager has a birthday that day.

Sounds like a lot of fun :)
I think all the AC games in general have been a life ruiner for me whenever they've been released lol. The only impact I can think of for NL is that I got my first odd job this year thanks to it
