Smash Bros How game devs are taking to the recent smash ballot...

Am I the only one that thinks it's cheap now that almost every indie-game developer is tweeting out fake pictures of their game's characters in smash bros 4 pictures?

Like literally can all of these indie devs just stop? All of these characters aren't even the slightest worthy to be on the smash roster... I mean, sure Shovel knight and other indie games are great, don't get me wrong, but if they were ever introduced to the smash roster then I think I'd literally burn every Nintendo product I own. I also find it awkward how I literally only know one character from the pictures above... Most of them aren't even popular lol

I absolutely hate that so much people want Shovel Knight in Smash... I'm beggining to hate all things Shovel Knight because the fanbase is so annoying at times.

I totally agree with you. Seriously indie developers, you might not be as relevant as you think. I wouldn't like to see Shovel Knight in Smash. He's not as big of a third party character as Sonic, Megaman, and Pacman, and let's face it, he's basically a swordfighter. We don't need another one of those.

The Meatboy team is being very hypocritical as well. At least have some decency.

Same. I'm already unhappy with Mega Man and Pacman in the game. If their playstyle was different sure, but I don't like their main focus being on projectiles.

Well, it's obviously not gonna be any of them, but I think it's creative, and I'm sure they had a lot of fun making them.

I count his fire hydrant. I guess I wouldn't say he's too projectile based, but the way people use him on For Glory make it look that way. At least the ones I face. They like to distance themselves from you after using the hydrant and charge up their throwing item in the process.
