How friendly are you?

I'm just curious as to how many people are on here to make friends, only on to trade/buy/sell, or both!
Call me Drake but i have some srs trust issues and i haven't made too many friends on here. And the people i call friends are just the ones i trust leaving alone in my town. I've yet to actually make a friend whom i talk to often and such on here. Idk if its cause i come off as a weirdo (i like being a weirdo) or something but people just don't ever seem talkative or like they have the time of day for a friend.
Originally i only planned to use belltree as a source to make money off of my junk and anothers treasure, and fill my catalog but it gets kinda boring when you're done with all that.
It'd be cool to have someone comeover who can talk, do island tours, etc, and help me garden ya know?
This is a partial vent but I'm genuinely curious!

I guess from my experience you can tell who wants to be friendly and who just wants to get it over with lol

I already feel like I need to clear my friend list out to determine people who I know won't probably ever talk to me again, haha. I guess that just happens

Same, I started using Belltree for getting my dreamies and trading/buying items but it gets boring. I'd also like to have friends I can just talk to and visit each others towns and do tours/gardening/landscaping stuff

I'm not on here much, and not really here to make friends, but I try to be friendly because there's a lot of really cool people here. I'm mostly on here if I need a villager or a popular villager moves out of my town. Or if I need some items haha

I've only made like a total of three friends on here that I used to play with everyday but unfortunately they never get online anymore. My Friend list is filled to the max with people I've traded/bought/sold things, I'd like to try and make friends but I'm sorta unsure where to start haha.

I once met a really nice young guy on here, we did a trade (I can't remember what for) and since then he would just drop by occasionally when I opened my gate for visitors. Would just chat and he would help with watering all my flowers (there are loads too) without even being asked.
I cleared off my friend list a while ago so sadly he is no longer on there
I used to be quite trusting of people on my town and leaving them to it, just because I know I would never take from somebody else's town. Haven't had a problem with anybody stealing but I'm much more wary now nearly every spare space is covered with rate hybrids. Actually I rarely open my gate for visitors anymore just overly cautious I guess, haven't been given any real cause to be that way though

Today someone visited while I was doing a trade and messed up my path, can't figure out who exactly it was too :/
Stuff like that gets me annoyed, but the forum has helped me get more into animal crossing and the community.

Making friends is nice but my main reason for coming here is to help people with dreamies, get me and my friend's dreamies, get items/ bells, and practice drawing. :3

I have one or two friends on here. I'ts mainly because I'm not much of a talkative person; trying to start up a conversation is not my forte xD I just make it awkward. Aside from the usual 'how are you' and 'whats up' there is really nothing else to talk about >.> I did have one friend who I met on the Island; my naivety got the better of me because I never once realised that she was only friends with me because I had money :c

I've only met one person I actively talk with, and that person was from Club Tortimer, strangely enough. A few of the people on here I could see being ACNL friends eventually. I prefer talking to mature people, and there are a ton of kids on TBT, at least it seems that way to me.

I remember meeting this great person but I deleted their
friend code and I have rest me town so many times I have
forgotten them...I remember their mayor being called Toast
which I thought was super cute! I can be really rude tho
without meaning to be...I'm super sensitive and things
get to me really quickly. Unlike most animal crossing
trading sites this one is the best! Such a wonderful
group of people that are so friendly and nice to each other,
it's beautiful! And the best part? Hardly any scammers: Amazing!

I've only made a scarce few of genuine friends here, though I don't talk to them much. I'm mostly just here to help people out, ask questions, give answers and such. I don't really trust people to walk freely in my town, I have a lot of hybrids like pink flowers as well as blue roses and pansies. There's stuff I keep on the ground gift wrapped, fortune cookie and Gracie exclusive clothes all for when I update my DA. I'm always paranoid that someone is gonna steal my stuff, so I always tail closely behind them when I do let people come in xD

Sometimes I think I'm being over the top and should be a bit more trusting... but then I don't know. Aside from that, yeah I'm pretty friendly. I tend to give freebies these days if I have stuff someone is looking for.

I just use the forum for game related stuff like trading and selling and such. Although I do enjoy going into the Basement and playing forum games. However I havent really made many friends on here (if at all) I have tried being friendly and starting conversations with people in the hopes that I could get to know them but it didnt really work out : ( not sure if Im just a weirdo or if they were on a different page..

yeah that is what I'm always worrying about x In fact I just brought a villager off somebody and
I was having a lot of problems and had to update my ds in order to me to add their friend code,
meaning they had to wait for a while but they were super nice about it C:

So for me, I'll probably stick around longer than I thought I would and it's real nice to be around people who enjoy playing this game as well

As for friendliness, I would say I am very friendly, but I'm not really one to start conversations as well (I kinda suck at that). But, I do have Skype to communicate with all my friends I have made over the internet or with some of my real life friends. I guess it's easier for me to talk more on Skype xD rather then email or talk on a forums though. But, that's just me!

I'm actually the complete opposite! I find it so much more harder to talk on skype or have conversations on skype but on here, i'm pretty friendly and always have a lot to say. I feel like i'm much more conversational on here than I can be in real life. i'm undeniably awkward i've had people message me via visitor message, and I honestly do love talking to others on the forums. Usually I don't start the conversations (once again i'm awkward) but I do like getting visitor messages from others, although it might not seem that way! but i'm pretty friendly so don't be afraid to message. c: I'm always open to making new friends, but that isn't my sole purpose why i'm here. But it's just really nice when you have people VM you. its like omg you're so precious you took the time out of your day to message me
