how does time traveling affect the villager moving in

I heard somewhere about tting to affect who moves in frigas moving in tomorrow and I want other people in my town. Anyone know how it works?

I guess if you time travel you could get people to move out faster, leaving more room for more people.

Yes there is a chance when people move out without telling you, but it doesn't happen often for me. I've skipped a month once but only one person moved out.
