How does Earth Day start??

I woke up and no leif or redd. I have Kicks in the plaza..... will his visit prevent my earth day from starting?

Me and a friend are struggling with this ourselves. I've gotten the update, but no Leif or Redd. I assumed it was because I have Saharah in town today. Any advice would be appreciated >.<

Has your Earth Day at all started? Like the special Nook activities and such? Or is nothing changed?

Well I did download and install the update. I got the special item in the mail from nintendo for the update. And Nook mentioned that earth day was going on. I don't see any 'special' earth day nook mile activities though. And no Leif or Redd yet.

I did~ that might have locked in the visitors for the day already, huh? Hopefully tomorrow he'll be around then

Yes - when the day starts, the visitors that can appear are rolled for you, from Flick, C.J., Sahara, etc, or it might roll you none at all. Without the update, Leif can't be rolled. The update doesn't re-generate the roll, whatever you got before (even if it was 'none') will be kept. You should get Leif tomorrow, and Redd isn't due to show up for the first time for any non-TTers until tomorrow anyway.

Almost all correct, People could of gotten redd today if you download the update last night before the new day and talked to blathers before the new day.

Ah yes - I keep forgetting that people in timezones behind me got the update "yesterday".
