How do you protect your DS/3DS?

I have a Black 3DS XL and I don't use any cases on it. My dad bought me a clear case last time, but I don't use it. I carry it in a Bigben hard pouch. All the protection I have on it is the Hori Screen Protector. Haven't really dropped it without the pouch.

I use one of these:

I have a hook on the back of it so it can hang from my belt loop when I go out. It's pretty awesome.

It looks awesome! (not a fan of Monster Hunter though, but the leather (?) pouch is just niiiiiiiiiice)
The clip is cool too, I have a strong shoe-lace on my self-made pouch so I can close the top side and tie the pouch to my belt and take it to conventions and such (where I am not allowed to carry a bag with me into dealer rooms etc).

I have nothing to protect it, I'm just careful, but I do wrap it in some cloth when I have it in my bag, to protect it from getting scratched.

I carry mine like it's a baby. I don't want to put a case on it because the casing itself can scratch the console. So basically the only (yet effective) method of protecting my shiny precious is to menacingly hiss at anything that comes within 5 feet of it. :D

Hahahha, I like this method =P

The fear of scratches is the reason I took the Hori TPU casing, it's somewhat softer and flexible and from the reviews I've read it didn't leave any scratches. I already took mine of sometimes, and I haven't got scratches whatsoever.

Hissing would not always work in my case, that pack of milk still wouldn't move away from my 3DS in my backpack.

i dont lol
i really dont care much about if it gets scratched or something, doesn't bother me

but i would rlly hate it if it was broken and had scratches everywhere [which it doesn't atm so im happy]

I don't really protect it.
I dislike cases and am too lazy for a pouch!
I don't take it outside of my home much though,
and if I have to take it on a long trip I will most probably put it in a sandwich bag to avoid any potential water bottle spilling on it.

I have to keep my XL in a Black and Blue Nerf case since I'm pretty clumsy and I drop it a lot..
But when I'm going on trips I usually throw it into a hard black case that I bought from Walmart.

One of those notoriously survived being firebombed in the first Gulf War. I dropped mine six feet onto concrete once and it was fine.)

I saw that in person, it's on display in the Nintendo World Store in NYC!

Anyway, back to the topic. I have screen protectors on and this fabric zipper case I bought from GameStop when I head to campus to prevent pens and other things in my bag from scratching it. Otherwise, it travels around in my pockets and sits nicely on the charging dock I picked up last October.

That is why you need a TPU case! Clear very soft plastic that won't scratch the exterior of your 3DS. CLICKY

I don't protect mine, as I am very careful about my things (I have had a PSP, DS, DS Lite, iPod touch 2nd generation, iPod touch 5th generation, a galaxy s4, and my 3DS) and I have never broke any of them. However, I stuck my 3DS XL in my moms purse when we went on a road trip because I didn't want to carry it around, but I wanted street passes, and something in her purse put a deep scratch all the way down the back. :/

I keep it in a Lesportsac pouch that came with a backpack I bought. It's not the greatest method, I'm sure :C I dropped my laptop on the top screen too so there's a pretty sizable scratch on it ; - ;

I have a button-pouch thing that's boring it's just blue with Nintendo 3DS LL written on it
and a nice aluminum case
and screen protectors
My first 3DS lasted 3 months so...

I have a little pouch for it but thats it lol

but nintendo handheld always seem to be pretty sturdy and I'm pretty careful so no problems so far!!!

I don't put a case on it when I'm at home because my house is clean and I never drop it.
I put it in this 3DS bag thingy when I'm at other places though.

I have a nice little padded animal crossing bag. I'm really desperate to protect my new 3DS, because it's my first special edition.

I have a reinforced case bag I got for travel, but more often than not I've noticed that I just use it for game storage.

I just put a screen protection, because it could get scratched very easily c:
Otherwise nothing else as I'm a very careful person :>
