I have hard cases for both of my systems. My Pikachu XL sits in my huge gaming storage box until I need to use it. And my brand new purple 3DS sits in the hard case my Pikachu XL was stored in whenever I go out. (Yep, I downgraded for reasons 
) I'm hand crocheting a case for my 3DS this summer. I'm also looking into getting a plastic case like my XL has on.
