Me-me

The first me is pronounced like it is in mess, the second me is pronounced normally.

The correct pronunciation is "Meem, or "Miim" The word was coined by the evolutionary Biologist Richard Dawkins, and in a few of his videos, that's how he pronounces it.

Like with ALL things.
People pronounce it differently.
I would pronounce it 'Me-me' and you'd pronounce it 'Meem'.

Live and let live I say.

You may pronounce it "me-me" but you'd be pronouncing it wrong. Just because you think it sounds better that way does not make it right.

I used to pronounce it "may-may", but until I heard someone say "meem".

Now I just say "meem".
But where's "maym"?

So?
It doesn't mean life will end or something.
I've pronounced words my own way for years.
I r rebeling against the rules of language and pronounciation

I do believe, its meem. Its really just Mean, with a M at the end.
Off Topic: My Older Brother, he used to have a hard time saying things, so whenever he said, Fish, it sounding like "Bish" And well, sometimes he said like... "B**ch" So one time, he was talking to her friend and he said, "Oh, I ate some B**ch last night." He obviously meant Fish, buuuuuuut, his teachers thought otherwise. He went to the Principal, my mom got called in, The speech teacher came in also. It must have been crazy, to explain it. Just a funny story. ;)

I'm assuming "miim" is a long E with two Ms on either end. I.e., the correct way.

This is a word that was actually coined by Richard Dawkins relatively recently.
