How do you make your money?

Just curious as to how tbt members obtain their riches on acnl.
What is your most often used method for making money?
Which method do you find most effective/fun of all that you use?

(By methods I mean things such as bug catching on the island for rare bugs/sharks, selling tbt for bells, selling turnips etc)

Personally I enjoy bug catching on the island but find it can get a little tedious after a while

Then the next step, selling villagers.
sell rare items or such.
now i offer btb in exchange for igb.

Yeah the btb for igb seems the quickest way to make a large amount of money !

Turnips and bug hunting. I have two towns so I just TT to Sunday, buy a locker full of turnips, then either find someone selling or TT to a good price day.

I used to catch bugs and sharks, but it got old real quick. I saved up a good amount of tbt over the year I spent posting on here without ever spending a single bell, so I ended up doing a tbt for igb trade. I'm pretty much set on igb now since I have my house paid off/pwps pretty much all completed.

Yeah the btb for igb seems the quickest way to make a large amount of money !

I think it is! The collectibles are incredibly cute aah.. The forum bell thing is a really cool idea and probably really good for the stimulation of the Animal Crossing: New Lead online economy or something like that

I always used the island. I have 11m put away from a villager sale, but I haven't really jumped into it. I tend to get my money rock and stuff every day so by the time I need money, I've stockpiled some.

I may start exchanging BTB for IGB someday.

I still do beetle hunting. Works well for me! Especially with the lazy camper exploit. Feels so wrong to cheat them out of their money, but I can't argue with 50,000+ per golden stag.

Turnips are the most lucrative for me, but I still beetle farm on the island on a regular basis. And if I can sell them to a lazy camper... score!

I do whatever I'm in the mood for in the moment. Lately I've been beetle farming and collecting island items to eventually sell for IGB.

I personally don't want to sell my BTB for IGB because it feels a little like cheating to me. I don't think it's bad or hold it against anyone- it's smart! But when it comes to my IGB, I want to earn them through work done in the game. So I'm okay with selling villagers, unorderables I've obtained myself, and gardening supplies, but I don't want to receive any IGB by selling my BTB, because I earned those online and not in the game.

Sometimes I order royal crowns off a giveaway and sell them but usually I just sell whatever I find (fish, bugs, fossils, gyroids, furniture, and even clothes).

I do it the classic old boring way, catching golden stags off the island at night. I find it relaxing, and have sort of made it a daily ritual of mine to hunt before I go to sleep.

I don't have a steady source of income on acnl or on TBT. I don't always want to/have the chance to go to the island everyday. So I constantly hunt for easy things people are paying to do. For example, yesterday I made 2 million IGB arranging flowers in someone's town. So money is kind of a on again off again thing.

I used to catch bugs and smaller things! But now I'm just selling things on here and exchanging tbt/btb for igb!

Beetle farming on the island is how I funded just about most of my first town, for my second town I was a bit of a cop-out and sold some of my TBT for IGB and got rich quick and got all of the bank badges. Hehehehe.
