How do you guys deal with Villager Category Bloat?

I made two lists.

Favorite of each villager species.

Favorite of each villager personality.

There are ten villager slots with eight personalities, so I could allow myself either two doubles or a triple. Ended up with two Crankies and two Lazies. I also made an exception for my favorite peppy, Bianca. Even though she and Rolf, one of my Crankies, are tigers, I consoled myself by the fact she has a unique snow leopard design. Unique designs are my exceptions.

EDIT: I do agree, though. Normals are my secret favorite, but there are simply too many with cute designs. If the conversation didn't get so boring, I could possibly fill a town with them.

if i had it my way i would have a town of like all normals, peppies and 1 cute lazy xD but for the sake of diversity and pwps, i want at least one of each!

Same as I, but having 4 rabbits in a town kinda makes me regret the decision for dreamies.

Oh gosh, I always had the same problem with Normals and Lazies. I can't stand having more than 2 of the same personality in a single town, so.....I guess having two towns helped? Then it doesn't feel so repetitive. I had the opposite problem, too. I love the Uchi personality, but I like almost none of the Uchi villagers. Pashmina was a random move-in I decided to keep because I was like "SHE'S UCHI AND I DON'T HATE HER. STAYING FOREVER."

And then there's Canberra.

Agreed! Why WHY are all of the uchis, well, not appealing?! (Except my Mira, of course...she's da bestest!) lol
