How do you get the rv with amiibo cards

So I just tried an amiibo card and I got a picture. It is possible to get rvs instead of just gifts, right? If so does anyone know where I can find a guide on how to do it?

From what I've heard, you can only get the RVs with amiibo figures.

You can only have visitors from the amiibo figurines or the new amiibo cards for new villagers or the Sanrio ones.

The current amiibo cards can only make the villager move to your town or give you a gift daily.

When i got on to play today i had a New villager rv in my campgrounds (no card/amiibo used)
was Snooty the anteater. So now i will be checking my camp before i summon cause she had some neat furniture.

This is the first I've seen her and I've been playing since release.
she had some nice zen items and a few things I saw Harv selling at one point too.

the new cards that havent come out in na/eu yet will allow for the villager rvs

This is really interesting. And you didn't use any cards? Snooty is part of the Welcome Amiibo card set of older villagers. She's #44 I believe. Did she appear in the NPC RV spot (first spot) or the spot for Amiibo/villagers you call up (second spot)?

i haven't seen it happen again since though
I hope it wasn't a fluke, I usually scan an amiibo every day for coupons
If it does I'll post here again.
