When I first started out in New Leaf I was ~all~ about the Island. I'd go there multiple times and come back with a ton of rare beetles. Now I make most of my money from the forums since I'm trying to hit the really high level post-office rewards. It would take A LOT OF BEETLES to reach 50M xD

I do all three, but I make the best profit on turnips as I only buy when I see a thread on the forum with a good price.

Beetle farming is too time intensive and I I give away more free villagers than I sell.

Eh, I don't feel like storing turnips. At all. Plus, they spoil when you TT back, and I have to TT back several times a day to get items. Mmmm, yeah, just sticking to Re-Tail board, because someone once gave me a huge amount of money for some furniture (not saying who or how much, but all I'll say is that it was pretty much out of the ordinary for anything you see on that subforum).

beetle farming mostly. i do turnips sometimes but i don't have much storage to keep that many, as well as the paranoia of not finding anywhere to sell them. i also have never sold a villager, nor plan on it. i'd feel pretty strange about that just personally.

I've been selling turnips for a few months. I made tons of bells. I still go to the island because I enjoy it.

I don't do the stalk market very often because I don't have a regular schedule for playing the game, so sometimes when I want to make the most out of it I'll just TT back and forth and that makes the turnips rot.

When getting bells in-game, I tend to beetle farm, or just do my daily errands (picking fruit and shells, fishing, the money rock and the smashable rock) for a bit of extra cash.

Off-game, though, I traded in some TBT bells a while ago and it made my life so much easier. Once this batch of money runs out I'm probably just going to keep trading TBT because I'm that lazy.
