How do you feel about your town?

My town is a big work in progress. Im trying to get all of my unwanted villagers to move out so i can start reconstructing~

My new towns alright, but really basic compared to my old town cause it has like 0 Pwps... The only thing I don't really like is my Mayors name/house placement, I wanted to make a themed town have no idea how to make a theme out of it. :v

I'm pretty happy with it. I was really happy with it during the holiday break, but now I'm changing it again in time for spring but the changes are just mainly to reduce grass wear once winter is gone and snow has melted. Aesthetically everything is the same at least lol

DAs are good places to look for inspiration though so even if my town might not look 100% perfect to others it's 100% to me. It's nice to have a certain reference point to work towards sometimes though like with the plaza areas and such of some towns.

Well, I'm pretty happy with my villagers and my house placement- I just finished plot resetting for my 10th villager few days ago so yeah c: I just need a few more PWPs, and landscape around it.. Though my house is a major work in progress... Need to get more furniture sets and decide on a theme...hmm

My town's pretty bland atm, but it has lots of potential to be really great once I figure out how I want to landscape and get some more pwps.

I think my town is pretty nice ... then I will visit dream towns and be all: "What?? I didn't even know you could even make your towns this nice!" I haven't even gotten all the shops on main street yet or anything. Working on hybrids though. So there's something.

For a long time I was very unhappy with it.

But just yesterday I worked on it all day and am starting to feel a little better about it. I had too many flowers everywhere, unorganized flowers I mean.

My town is fabulous! Every inch is covered in a conglomerate mess of PWPs, plants, and paths. I had no idea what I was doing, but it was amazing.

Startown I'm making a horror town with loads of weeds and dead flowers and stuff and items on the floor. I will let you know when it's done!

Sunshine is getting on quite well, but there are still unfinished areas with some furniture on the ground and mixed up flowers.

I think you should just decide what you want out of your town and work towards that! if that just means putting random things everywhere or just hanging out with villagers so be it! I really just want ankha to be surrounded by pyramids... as cliche as that sounds lol

My town is actually still in progress, and I like it, but honestly I'm not really satisfied with it :-\ Mostly because of my town layout and the placement of the permanent PWP (police station, campsite..)

And I'm an avid Dream Address visitor too so seeing all those beautiful and creative towns that have pretty landscaping just makes me feel worse lol

There's lots of my town I am REALLY uncomfortable with. I have like two hybrids, and they're not even that awesome. I really need to get creative, but there's soooo much space.. I am hesitant. Waaah. I need decorating skills.

My town is not completed yet, but I'm liking it so far. The only thing that bugs me a bit is the random houses placements of the villagers, I wish they could be very organized but it's something that I can't control.

I'm very attached to my town. I've seen some fancy towns, but mine feels "homier" with its many trees and flowers. Honestly, I'd prefer to live in mine even though I don't have lots of PWPs or paths. I like the little-cottage-in-the-woods feel.

I know it can be easy to feel discouraged when comparing your town to other more elaborate ones. I really admire those forest towns, since I wouldn't know where to start in making one myself. But I think it's important not to stress out about it, since it's only a game. Try to remember that those towns are the result of many, many hours of hoarding bushes and trees, landscaping, unlocking PWPs and it didn't all happen overnight.

There are a lot of unfinished spots in my town, but over the last few days I've started to like it much more. I filled in a lot of empty spaces, organized my flowers, and changed up the paths. I enjoy playing in it more since it's more neat and organized. I really like looking at screenshots and DAs of more finished towns to get inspiration. For instance, I have no idea how to decorate my pond. I think it's cool that even if two people have the same map and the same villagers, the towns can turn out so differently since not everyone has the same priorities in the game or decorating taste. I think having a town where you just play and collect badges is just as much fun as one that's immaculately landscaped.

I'm never satisfied with my town Gizvale, it's crammed with flowers and has crazy natural paths - never pre planned in any way, it's a higgledy piggledy mess! I always look at things and go "that just doesn't look right anymore" and rip it all up.. and then rip up the next flowerbed as well. It's been through some pretty drastic changes, over its ~20mths of existence. xD
It definitely doesn't compare to most DAs, it's much more eclectic and disorganised which I think is where the dissatisfation stems from for me. :I

My Lindale was planned from the start and I'm much more settled about how it is, I wouldn't change much though it is still very much a WIP.

My town has been in slow progress ever since July 2013...layout-wise, I could not have gotten a better town! The river distributed the town in the way I wanted, all of the buildings were in great places, and I even got one of my favorite villagers to start off with! ^o^

Honestly, I don't think my town will ever be perfect, but once I finally get all of my dream villagers and I finish the projects I want to add, I will be good to go.
