How do you feel about shopping at Nook's Cranny?

First off I <3 you guys. I'm so happy I have so many things in my catalog arsenal and got to help out a lot of people! I like to think I gave people interesting things to barter for as well other than IGBs/NMTs haha.

I'm down to the last itty-bitty of my wishlist cataloging (for now) from 800ish to 2 and lemme tell ya completing certain sets is HARD. Even with the help of people online.

The Rattan, Antique, etc. are their own dang category! Repeats galore!

The "over the counter" things like Espresso Machines, Stand Mixers, etc. would be a nightmare without help as well. Actually anything small/decorative that has more than 3 colors is pretty hard to find without help!

The one I had the most difficult finding was:

Studio Spotlights + wall lights

Quite a few people from here, Reddit, and a few Discord groups I began to use yesterday did not know of the different colors! Total was over a dozen people who did not know and honestly I don't blame them! You don't know unless you got more than one color which the game rarely gives you.

My little idea on how in-game Nook's Cranny could be made more fun!

In my dreams I wish we could do something akin to subscribing to certain subscription magazines in game.

Like if you subscribe to a workout magazine you'd get a selection of workout items at Nook's Cranny. If you subscribe to the "Retro Style" magazine your selection would consist of diner set items!

And it would promote people visiting other islands who are subscribed to different things!

Or even something as simple as having a color choice to the items ala Able Sisters.

I know it's suppose to take awhile to get all the items of certain things but IMO it falls into the category of becoming un-fun because if I didn't get help I would be demotivated to decorating my house at all.

There's my tangent! Interested on how other people feel.

Also low key if anyone got the orange or black round space heater hit me up~

Well I do agree with you in getting al of the colours, then again I still haven't figured if I really want to fill my whole catalogue. I like to give villagers their best possible gift, that's quite frankly one of the only reason I want the same furniture in multiple colours besides the one I find pretty

I do really like your magazine idea! But maybe make it like a little subsection, where you get the items from your subscription. This way you can still get other items not on your subscription list!

I do think it might be hard to get certain items in this season, since I believe that maybe certain colours, furnitures, styles, etc. appear in the best season (don't know if this is true, but it's what I expect). Since I am no fan of time-traveling and I don't want to do so, I cannot check this.

Also I find it very annoying that if I want the same garment at the able's in multiple colours, I have to re-enter the fitting room so many times! I wish there was a multi-buy button. This really withholds me from buying everything in the shop every day.. (but maybe that's for the best )

I don't know if I'll use the Round Heater item but my god is it hard to find the last colors I need. So this would make a lot a sense!

Some time travelers on here have said they found surfboards in a special section of Nooks come summer.

I respect that. I'd probably feel closer to this if I hadn't seen the same Rattan stool color 3 days out of a two week span.

I understand how you feel. After over 6 weeks playing, I was still struggling to even make a halfway decent room. I buy everything new at Nook's Cranny every single day, but it's just random stuff. I really wanted to collect things on my own, but I was tired of being unsatisifed with my house. I ended up visiting some cataloging islands last week. I don't have everything available in-game, by any means, and catalog islands means I'm now stuck to ordering 5 things a day from the Nook Stop. But at least now I can outfit my house better.

As far as your idea, it's an interesting idea but I'm not sure how they would pull it off. Especially because I don't see them suddenly making all colors of an item available via this method.
