How do you feel about Label?

I dont mind her, but for people who heavily rely on visitors, I could see how she could be annoying - taking up that spot.

I have no need for her. Her line of fashion is ugly (imo) and I have so many bells I dont care about the the tailors ticket. Plus the way the tailors ticket works is ridiculous.

She’s useless. It’s a shame, Gracie used to be super fun (especially in the original version when she made you wash her car lmao), there isn’t even a real challenge to the Label thing. Plus I feel like it would be way more rewarding if the clothing she gave you was exclusive to her, instead of being catalog orderable and occasionally stocked in the tailors. And yeah, her line is kinda tacky imo and all just plastered with the same logo, unlike all the neat designs Gracie had. I don’t look forward to her at all.

Her little mini-game was fun the first time or two, but got old after that. I don't like that she uses up one of the TWO slots per week that Gulliver, CJ, Flick, or Redd could be using instead. Now that that was confirmed to be true, I like her visits even less.

I want her to just be part of the Able Sisters shop or something. We don't need her to be a visitor. Honestly, I could say the same about Kicks and Leif though.

Completely agree, I loved Gracie and her original mission with her car in the GC version. We could've washed her yacht at the pier this time around. We could've had it all.

I like her, but I don't really like her visit. A random clothing article can be nice, but the challenges are very meh. I'd rather see her do something in Able's Sisters again, her special ouftits aren't it either. Gracie's unique clothing line was always super pretty.

I think they had to get rid of the car washing thing bc it felt weirdly exploitative and just like the snooty and cranky villagers, they toned down Gracie’s personality to be less rude and demanding lol.

Yeah every time I get her on my island I wish it was Gulliver, Flick, CJ or Redd. I don't dislike her but her clothes are ok but reorderable and the tickets are fairly useless.

anyone else think the fashion checks might eventually lead to something more? surely a crappy item that can already appear in Able Sister's (why) and 3,000 coupons which is like the equivalent of a few average butterflies worth can't be the end of it

...I mean if it worked exactly the same as new leaf and it eventually got us an emporium, I'd be chuffed. as it stands she's the worst visitor and since there isn't even a nook mile challenge or anything that makes it worthwhile, I might consider ignoring her next time I get her

also Gracie is probably my favourite character from AC, she's wonderful. Label is a boring oatmeal porcupine compared to Gracie and I want HER BACK

Probably. According to the official guidebook, doing well in her fashion checks builds up friendship with her. Why would you need to build up friendship with her, unless they were going to do something with it later?

While I agree her existence is pretty lackluster now, I suspect this won't be all we see of her - I imagine her taking the place of Gracie even more and coming up with multiple clothing lines and furniture sets of her own later on, maybe with upgrades of either Nook's Cranny or the Able Sisters. That may or may not take her off the list of vendors someday, and granted a lot of people are just gonna want Gracie's stuff back, but NH is so intent on making this the new direction of AC, I don't think they're gonna just leave her like this

oh my god I remember that now! there's no way they'd include a feature with no purpose like that.
I think dataminers also found evidence of a new nook's cranny upgrade recently, so I wouldn't be surprised if it functioned very similar to new leaf! that's very exciting to think about.

I really hope it brings gracie back :(

I do enjoy her fashion challenge but I wish that she also sold exclusive items. It would make her a more valuable visitor IMO. I hate that you can’t choose specifically what items to use the tickets on. If I want to use them to get two shirts but there’s also a skirt I have to make to many trips to the dressing room

Yeah, she's definitely my least favorite of the visitors, especially after learning that she occupies the same "rare" slot with Redd/Gulliver/CJ/Flick.

I've always liked her story (along with the story of the Able Sisters in general), and I love seeing her go by the name Label with Labelle as the name of her fashion line. But everything else is... eh.

I absolutely hate how we no longer have mail delivered at 5 p.m. Before, it was fun to talk to Gracie at the beginning of the day, go through your entire catalog to put together the perfect outfit, and then order everything you need. Now I just have to store a bunch of random clothes that I don't even like on the off chance that Label visits, and even then, the outfits don't end up as good as the ones I made in NL.

But it also just feels pointless to store all those clothes. I haven't failed a fashion check yet, so it feels like you will auto-pass it just by wearing the item that she gives you. I think that you gain more friendship points with her by having more clothes that fit the theme, but at this point, this "upgrade to the Nooklings' store" may come months later in a patch, so I don't see any reason to prioritize storing random clothes and speeding through her friendship ladder if I can just do the minimum and end up getting the upgrade once it drops anyway.

So I can't have fun just making outfits for the heck of it, and I also can't have fun knowing that I'm progressing towards a goal because I don't know what this goal is and whether or not any extra efforts towards this goal will even matter in the end.
