How do you add pictures to signatures??

Hi! I'm trying to add those adorable little icons of villagers to my signature, but I don't know how to get them on! It says it requires a url even though I've downloaded them..

Make a small picture with them bunched up, then post it to a site like imgur or tinypic, then use that URL and post it here.

You can use photoshop to make something like mine. You can also just plop them into paint or GIMP and say 'dreamies' and 'current villagers' or something too. Whatever works.
