How do I fix this?

I logged in this morning to a full mailbox from my villagers. Every letter is fine, except the one from Marshal. Every time I open it my game crashes and says an error has occurred, then restarts the game.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix?

I'm sorry that's happening. I've never experienced that. Can you just toss it?

Do you use power saves or something like that? Maybe your game is dirty?

No I don't use anything, so my game isn't dirty. I've never used a cheat or a hack or anything. I can't toss it because I can't even open it.

Maybe go to the post office and save it? Then it will be out of your mail slot and you won't have to worry about it unless you manage to fill up all your mail storage.

Hmm.. I've never heard of this. Maybe you've traded with someone who gave you a hacked item without your knowledge? Or if you adopted Marshal from someone, perhaps they hacked him into the game? I don't know of any other reason why Hope you get it fixed!

I haven't traded with anyone since I started my town a couple weeks ago, and marshal actually came from my cycling town.

I will go to the post office, it'll be okay if I can at least keep it out of sight where I won't accidentally try opening it

Thanks it's now in the last box so I will probably never see it again because I don't save mail
