How did you decorate your exhibition rooms?

I restarted my town again recently and I somehow started thinking about the exhibition rooms in the museum. I'm thinking of making one a library and another an observatory but I'm not sure what to do with the other two yet. Do you decorate the exhibition rooms in the museum? Or do you just use them for storage? Do you even use them at all?

I'm setting up a music display in one of them because I like collecting the music boxes but they take up a lot of room in my inventory. XD In my last town I created a flower display, though I never finished it. I might end up recreating it again someday, because it's a cute idea and I liked putting it together.

I've seen others mention making a room or two as cafe/food court areas. Always liked that idea.. Never got around to it myself.

Always thought a gift shop or sorts would be cute.

OK, I've been thinking about this all wrong, and I clearly need to visit more Dream Addresses. I never even go up to the museum when I do visit one. I'm using them for storage - I have 3 rooms full of all the gyroids. I need to stuff those gyroids in a basement or locker and at least move my cafe up there! And the observatory that's been missing from New Leaf definitely belongs there. I'm smiling just thinking about it. I could move my mini - dino models up there, but I think that would be redundant... I'll have to think about that one

Always thought a gift shop or sorts would be cute.

I love museum gift shops. This might be a good way to store some of non-reorderable items and display them even if they would otherwise not go well together.

I used them for storage, but also collected set pieces for giveaways.

At this moment, one is used for storage of rare items, another for Halloween costumes and candy, the third is empty, and the fourth is for the golden set (including gold chess pieces) for an upcoming giveaway.

I used to use them for storage, but now i have a space bar, pirate bar,western saloon, and a kids room with bunnies.lol.

I love making unique rooms, and when my houses were completely filled, i got bored.I wish i had more museum rooms to decorate.

I use mine for storage mostly. One room is for spare items I have to trade/sell, another two are for storing gyroids, and the other I'm planning on being a cafe type thing eventually.

One's a picture room, one's a junk room. The other two are walk-in closets, one for spring/summer and the other for fall/winter.

I thought we couldn't see Museums in dream towns. I used mine for storage now only one of them is. One is a library in progress, another is a gold room I'm working on getting my villager's pictures to display on tables for it, one is gonna be seashells from the beach and music boxes themed display exhibit one is still storage I'm working on making it a nicer walk in closet xD

I know they're meant to be showcased, but I honestly just used mine to store things that I wanted out of the way and out of my house/inventory/locker. One of them is full of tons of clothes that I used during the GracieGracie Fashion check, one is full of gyroids, and one is chock-full of Nintendo stuff. The last one is pretty random with pieces of furniture and such.

I thought about using one to set up a sort of "Music Hall", but I ended up putting that in the basement of my house, instead.

I use 2 to store furniture that I rotate in and out of my house depending on the season, one has all the clothes I like and wear often and one is just random stuff I can't fit anywhere else.

Mostly storage. I do have one with the 7-11 set-up because I thought it would be cute to have a little store in the museum. My other town has the card and sweets series for now.

First room is a super mario room which was designed as if going through one of the levels
Second is a japanese styled room (wip)
Third is a pirate exhibit room (wip)

Lol, same! My museum rooms are wonderful examples of random items for trade, old clothing I like to keep, ore that I just chuck on the floor and horde, and some fake art that I think I'll use one day but probably never will.

My first room is a display room with the walls lined with the tall display cases showcasing one of every miniaturized Dino
Second room is lined with tables and showcases my rare seed bag collection and all the Weeding Day Prizes
Third room has Fish Tourney and Bug Tourney with other Rare DLC pieces that are favorites
Fourth room is lined with display tables and showcases my rare/Gracie hats and dresses plus some street pass balloons

I use my rooms as storage rooms for full sets that I don't want to sell but I don't use. xD
