How did you decide on your dreamies?

My only dreamies are Tabby, Peaches and Lucky. I enjoyed those three villagers the most in AC:GC (and for some reason Tabby and Peaches were my starters, and after three years they're still living in my town.) so I want to have them in all my towns across all my games.

My most important dreamie is Walker. I wanted him in my town way back in Wild World, but never got him, and then when I started up City Folk he was one of my starting villagers and I never let him move. I just finally got him in NL and I'm so so happy ;-; Octavian and Marina go along with this as well-I had them in a previous game and liked them a lot.
And of course, then Zucker became a dreamie, too, because if I want two of them I might as well try for all three.
Zell became one because he moved into my town and I just love him so much.

The other five slots in my main town are for the five besides Walker I have starred in my signature. They've all been in my town a long time and I just came to like them a lot.

I was looking for villagers that I kinda know in real, if u get it? I know a Rosie in reallife, she's my little sister and so exctied about everything. I alsno know a layaback Bob, which I have in my town too. My best friend's name is Chrissy. They don't look like eachother, Tiffany looks like my bf so I have them both. I also have Aurora, that's a sweetheart like my mum. And it goes on and on and on

I chose my dreamies based on cuteness. = v = I'm cute-obsessed.

I never usually decide till I meet them. I read about characters I hear about and decide if I would like them, but I would see if I do once they come. I don't go major lengths to get them, i just sit around and if the chance comes, I take it. I like all of my villagers, and would only let them out and a dreamie in if I loved the dreamie a LOT or hated the other ALOT.

(But if you get Julian in your town...)

I chose to have an all dog town because I love dogs so much and because the dogs in this game are adorable!!! Also, dogs have at least one of every personality type so I have all 8, plus an extra normal and lazy (my favorite personalities!)

First was Marshal, I absolutely ADORE him, but squirrels are great overall (love that thumpy thumpy tail animation hehe). Didn't even know he was a Tier 1, I just have a weak spot for white and pastel, along with tsundere-like features. His smug personality is great too xD

Stitches, I got him from plot resetting and decided to keep him since he was in a good plot location (I've since fallen in love with him, he's absolutely adorable. The lazy personality is just too cute ^^).

I saw Diana in camp actually, but I was new to AC:NL and didn't know that I could've grabbed her as my 10th; after googling her and looking through the list of deer villagers, I found Beau adorable as heck too. Beau x Diana quickly became prioritized dreamies for me <:

Flurry, I saw her name on a plot as I was resetting and though I had originally planned on trying to get another rabbit (Francine or Chrissy, saw some art on a Animal Crossing blog), I went ahead and let her move in. Again, way too cute... so chubby * 3*

I went ahead and continued with the white/pastel theme and chose Ruby, Lolly, Merengue, and Whitney (all really pastel and nicely designed). I didn't have a 10th and was willing to accept any villager from a small list as my 10th dreamie c:

Well I just like all the villagers that are pink, and other than that I have a hard time choosing my dreamies. I would love just trying out every single villager.

Just a gut feeling kind of thing. I don't want villagers that clash too much visually. Some characters I think are really cute, and a lot of people want, won't fit in my town. They need to fit in with the likes of Fang, Kid Cat and Anchovy.

I don't consider all of my villagers to be dreamies, I love them very much but most of them I found randomly, in the campsite (Flurry, Ankha), out of luck (Francine, Julian), by resetting (Lucky, Monty, Merengue, Rod)...

The two villagers I REALLY wanted badly, and so can be considered as dreamies, were Chrissy (you can't have Francine with Chrissy!), Chester (such a cuuuutie and I adore lazy villagers), and the most adorable creature ever, Clay (in my second town).

But I don't like getting stuck with the same villagers too long, which is why I don't have that many permanent villagers on my second town. Although I did search for villagers like Molly, Paula... because I wanted to see how it is to have them as neighbours ^^ And I'll probably keep them for a long time, or forever.
