Im fairly certain it's 2 spaces for all pwps since the one square "dead space" around both your house and the pwps themselves can't overlap

I think the train tracks depends on what type of pwp it is! Because I just today put up my cafe and the back of it is one space away from the tracks, so I can say for sure the cafe can be one space from the tracks.

I wish it had let ME do that when I built mine.

Miserabelle wouldn't let me, and I had plenty of space. She kept on about the train tracks.

I eventually built it near the river, where I didn't want it, but have managed to sculp a park near it (there's a pond too.), that turned out to be my favorite part of town. ^_^

Yeah Isabelle is far too strict when it comes to pwps haha Like we're the mayors you silly dog, let us decide! I'm actually surprised she even let me put mine up there, I thought for sure it would be too close to the plaza, but nope! Thankfully not

She wouldn't let me put a 1x1 streetlight near a bench.
It was a good 5 spaces in each direction, free.

I've said it before.

I could be standing in the middle of the Sahara Desert, and Miserabelle would say: "It's too close to something else, from where you're standing, you need a blank space, and one space left and right, and at least two spaces back".

"But.. Miserabelle, we are in the MIDDLE OF THE DESERT.

That’s what I thought maybe . I know in my last game the train tracks was one square away. I wanted to place it the same in this town.
