A villager ended up landing in the middle of one of my set of paths, but she didn't actually move in yet. I'm trying to get her plot to move somewhere else, but I honestly don't get the concept. Can anyone explain it? Thanks ^_^

If you have loaded the game with your mayor character, it will not be possible to plot reset the location of this particular villager move in.

There are some great guides on this forum, or you could try Google.

(I don't do it much, so I'm not qualified to explain.)

The basics of plot resetting are:
On the day a villager is supposed to plot their house, do not load an existing character (loading an existing character will save the game and the plot can no longer be moved). You make a new character and check for the plot if it is in a good spot you make your house somewhere, save and quit and then delete the character. If you don't like where the plot is then you turn off your game without saving, then you keep making new characters and quitting without saving until you get the plot in a good spot.

This is just a quick tutorial on how to do it, I would google it for a more in-depth explanation. ^.^

Hmmmm if you have loaded the game using an existing character (i.e. your Mayor), then it's too late for any plot reset.
The villager's house is gonna stay there. The only way to get it to move is to cycle that villager out.
Or if it's someone you'd like to keep, then you have to redo some landscaping to accomodate the situation.

Plot reset is done using a (disposable) new character, going thru the whole Rover train thing, and well, pardon my laziness,
here's is the post I made a little while ago, which may also be the answers you are looking for...?

Good luck! C:
