House of Nightmares [FINAL ANSWERS]

Got all wrong. Never played arms or any smash dlc, I connected the birds and all but since isabelle is just cut in halve I didn't see it, haven't played the new paper mario and the last one is just impossible when you're colorblind.

Yes again some hours wasted for nothing :) Next fair I'm just going to look for 5 minutes 🤣
 
Well, one things for certain, I learned a valuable lesson:

This game is for tryhards who think they got it when they really don't and get all salty about it, whilst for me I was only good at the 2017 one. While also with me thinking I could boast about my superior mirror guessing skills whereas that was only in 2017 of course, thus proving I could only guess the easy ones. (I wonder what happened? Was it the first to guess thing?)

I know not to do these and boast again. I don't mean to sound like i'm begging, but whenever there's going to be another Gaming TBT Week, I promise to not talk on Discord at all and just have fun by myself so you guys won't have to hear me talk about how great I am at Mario Kart and I get extremely salty when I place in any number other than 1st.

I'll be far better at finding eggs than this, but this was fun, so thanks.

(Also I thought Min Min was the Bonus #3 Mirror that used this Image: )

If only I guessed it for the main one, but all I saw was a Sword that looked like Cloud's, but I didn't guess it because Cloud isn't even a Nintendo character.

wow congrats to the winners, that is amazing!! yall got some eagle eyes 👏

favorite: diantha - i thought she was a bird and laughed when i saw how far off i was.
easiest: wilbur - i almost missed it bc i confused orville and wilbur lol.
hardest: whispy woods - i missed the broccoli comments and didn't see a tree at all, i was convinced it was a character wearing a mask for some reason bc i got distracted by the pointy stars 😂
 
It's honestly funny, I've played all these games from all the mirrors from the event, but I only got the second (Whispy Woods) correct. This game is not only about knowing your characters but also the ability to actually use your eyes and brain, which this taught me, that I am incapable to do so. 🙃

Despite that, I had fun with these. Thanks for both the joy and despair this event has brought me.
 
Wow, I was really off.
The only series (not the character) I got right was from the first bonus.

Here's how I saw each of them for those who are curious:
  • Round 6: I didn't even see Min Min at all. I thought the background piece over her shoulder looked like a character with a sheathed weapon on their back looking to the side. Because of that, I guessed Impa.

  • Bonus 1: I thought the moon was supposed to be Luna's hair bun. A funny thought was that the mirror was all a joke to distract everyone from guessing the moon from Majora's Mask as the character.

  • Bonus 2: I focused on the middle silhouette, which seems to have been the distraction that I fell for. If I had rotated the image like I did for the others, maybe I would have at least gotten this one right. I guessed Ashley Robbins from Another Code/Another Code: R.

  • Bonus 3: The lower-left part (the M-shaped section) of Palutenna's staff looked like an eye/eyebrow to me. I guessed Link, since it looked similar to some versions of him.
 
Omg I would not have guessed any of these so I'm glad I went with dumb answers instead. LOL
For the space one I guessed Zelda as a call back to the 2017 space Zelda that I remember brought so much pain for so many people.
I guessed Spring man for the tree one cuz my fried brain went hehe tree branches look like spaghetti arms, Byleth for the second one bc I like Byleth, and for the third one I could literally see nothing so I input "And some pokemon maybe idk" 😂 👌

Congrats to seliph and Makoto though! Those were some super tough mirrors. Even with the reveals for the bonus challenges I'm not like "Ah I se it now" like dkdfk there's literally nothing in those ones I swear. I can kind of see Isabelle but Olivia and Palutena got me like?? -squints-
 
i thought i saw mew in the mirror for round 6 at the top right corner and my mind just went straight to pokemon lol
 
Dang, got them all wrong! xD Congratulations to the winners! Thank you @Justin and all the other TBT staff involved in throwing together such a fun event! :)
