I find I can't do the slasher horror movies. I prefer more of the supernatural style of horror, like the conjuring. I am actually very excited to see the Nun in theaters, as well as IT Chapter 2!!

I hate gorey horror, or horror with gratuitous violence. It's boring and gross, not scary. I've seen the first Saw movie, but I won't see any of the others, nor will I watch the Purge movies. I don't understand why they keep getting sequels. They seem so boring to me.

I do, however, really love psychological or supernatural horror. Something old school with jump scares or unexplained happenings. Maybe a monster or two at the end. I love that kind of stuff. I'm more into setting up the mood of horror rather than IN UR FACE BLOOD AND GUTS AND SLASHERS OMG.

agreed. The Conjuring is one of my favorites! I haven't seen IT yet, but I'm sure I'll love that too!

A lot of my favorite films are horror! My absolute favorite is Pet Sematary. I also like werewolf movies, my favorites are An American Werewolf in London, The Howling, Dog Soldiers, and the Ginger Snaps films.

my favorite movies are the jigsaw films and i grew up with courage the cowardly dog as a show.

So, apparently, I have terrible taste in horror movies because I don't worship The Poughkeepsie Tapes. I tried to like that movie. I really did, but the way it's filmed have me a headache. What's fun about pain?

Has anyone else seen the original Rosemary's Baby with Mia Farrow? I'm big into classic horror.

I will not be able to handle horror movies if I ever see one. I got scared enough during Jurassic World and would die watching a horror movie

I love horror movies! I usually prefer old movies like the first Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street - the list goes on. I also really love some of old black & white horror films. One of my faves is The Tingler with Vincent Price. The first time I saw The Tingler I was sitting in the dark in my room. Perfect set up to see that movie & I didn't even realize it. lol!

Yo, A Nightmare On Elm Street is amazing. I love watching old horror movies. Especially the Stephen King films. Cujo holds a special place in my heart, particularly, and so does Carrie with Sissy Spacek, even though I also love the remake that was out out a few years ago.
