Hopes and Expectations?

I expect that:
-Being the mayor will add great and amazing new features to the game
-A few new fish and insects will be added
-The fossils in the museum will look amazing in 3D
-Gyroids will be included as a real museum exhibit, not just held in the roost
-There will be a random purpose to swimming
I hope that:
-The city will return
-New stores will be created to accommodate
-new clothing (shoes, pants, skirts, dresses, etc)
-new furniture some high end, some affordable
-The box thing is actually a beekeeper's hive
-We'll have honey
-We can swim to an island and look around underwater
That's all I have for now.

The only thing I truly hope for is an original AC. Not a cragging port like CF. I'm sick of my villagers asking for the same thing every day. Why even play if you can't talk to the only NPCs in the game that have anything meaningful to say? Nothing's beaten the original yet. That's all I want, be better than the original.
I hope the game plays more like AC:GCN than WW and CF. WW was okay, but CF... I think I've made my point with CF.
Things that must happen if the developers have any clue what they're doing with this game:
- Get rid of the city.
- Unless there isn't some overhaul to the way you talk to animals - since you are the mayor - give all of the options when talking to animals from the GCN version back. Make animals less repetitive than CF, and give back more fetch-style quests over the "I'm looking for this set" and "I'm looking for this bug" style quests.
- Bring back animal pictures, or something equivalent. Animal pictures are perfect, though.
- Flowers should not wither and die - as in how it was done in the GCN version. The one exception is that the watering can would be used to allow the creation of hybrids and spreading flowers.
- Make the outdoor furniture system better than it was in e+. Also allow for more town decorating. This could revolutionize the game without changing the feel of the series.
- Make a new soundtrack (I believe this one is already nearly confirmed)
- Allow the mansion sized house again.
- Keep all of the holidays from CF - or at least the ones that were related to real holidays.
- Improve upon the online.
Slightly less important stuff:
- Bring the balls from the GCN version back.
- Bring back the scavenger hunts and golden spots from AC:GCN.
Seems like a long list, but really it's common sense.
Now for what I hope (well, everything above is all 'hope', it's all too unlikely that they could come up with an AC that good - however, if this game is really different, than it can hopefully make up for it. It's just if you're going to rehash a game... Do it right.):
- Bring back the train. It added a nice atmosphere to the town in the GCN version.
- Make animals more individual. It's a large task, but after charging us for CF it's the least they can do.
- A real personal hope: Add wind instruments. We have every other major family, but there aren't any wind instruments. I know, they're just stationary furniture objects, but that makes it more ridiculous - they wouldn't even have to animate them. There is no excuse. I swear life simulation games really hate wind instruments because none of them are cool enough to include them. AC should step up and add them so I can have instruments I actually play in my house this time around. =/

Is that a rumor or were there pictures of that? I really don't want the houses from AC:WW back; once you had every upgrade, your main room would be blocking doors if you were going to put anything in them.

Personally, I like this set up. In wildworld I gave myself a bathroom using the cabana set and the toilet and stuff. And a kitchen on the second floor with a regal table. I just hope they throw a basement into the mix.

You do know that you can rotate the camera on AC while indoors,but if it were rotated.I'd see a window.So I guess there is a chance of a mansion.
Now,would if they added Sandels and High-Heels since you can put on shoes in the game?
Possible, since we've already seen boots in the video where the character gets dressed as Link. Maybe not heels, but sandals are a definite possibility.

I would love if they put in heels or dressy shoes. really hoping for some dresses, like some long gowns and like party dresses. And for the guys, tux's(Not that weird tuxedo from WW a real tux) and possibly be adding a purse or suitcase of backback or messenger bag for extra storage beside your pockets

I also hope we can wear scarves, and choose for shirts and such to have sleeves.
I also hope the "Number" shirts go back to normal, from what they did in CF. The number in the top left is unnoticeable and ugly

I really hope that you can design your own swimsuit,shoes,accessories etc.

Yes, that's good also! And you can upgrade pocket sizes, 100,000 bells to upgrade to 20, 500,000 to upgrade to 25, etc.
I think they should make it 15 letters.
