Hiyas ☺️

So I just got the console and game yesterday. If anyone has any tips or advise it would be so appreciated. Also I don’t have online yet I’m not sure if I should because I don’t know if anyone would be interested in connecting with me cus I’ve only started the game so probs would need to progress before getting it.

thanks and have a great day 🙈✨

Welcome! There is a great thread here with a wealth of valuable information:

I would definitely read through there to pick up tips and advice that usually go unnoticed by many people.

I also recently posted a thread asking people to give advice to themselves before getting the game, which you can read through here:

Is this your first Animal Crossing? I hope you enjoy playing it! If you're unsure about the online then there's no harm in waiting, though you may find if you really get into the spirit of the game that trading and visiting people online can really add to the experience. TBT is a very friendly forum with loads of people willing and ready to help out with a variety of things!

Awww Hi!
Thank you so much 😊
I’ll get looking at these threads today.
Currently trying to collect the materials
for nooks shop. So progress is being made lol This isn’t my first time with animal crossing I still have wild world For ds but only so much fun you can have with it tbh and would of had it for the wii the city folk one so have always appreciated the game 😁 I do think I’ll get online once I’ve made abit more progress for sure. Be nice to meet new people and explore! Thanks for all your help appreciate it a lot 🥰

Hi, welcome to the forums! Some advice I would give is to save your materials! Even things like weeds will be useful for crafting certain items later on! Also, if you see something you like in the shop, buy it! You never know when it'll pop up again. Also, try not to compare your island to others' too much. I find the game so much more enjoyable taking it slowly and working on things as and when I feel like it rather than trying to rush because I've seen so many amazing islands and ideas online! Definitely use the community for inspiration, just don't let yourself get too overwhelmed by how many creative and amazing ideas there are!

Hi! Welcome to Animal Crossing family! I would recommend saving furniture even if you don’t think you’ll need it! When you start building your town you might have uses for it! I’ve had to repurchase so many items because it didn’t fit my aesthetic when in reality my town ended up changing aesthetics 😂

Pretty much do everything Tom Nook mentions when you start off, since a lot of content is locked behind what he asks you to do, the first while of the game is basically one massive tutorial under a vague 'story' like thing.

This thread will let you ask questions in the future if you ever get stuck:

I also made a guide on hybrids that you can take a look at, if you ever want to get into it. A lot of people breed hybrids to eventually decorate their island. I got a link in my signature (cannot see on mobile), but there is a link located in the FAQ page above.
