Hiatus

5 months orz...luckily only one person moved out but sadly it was punchy and not one of my villagers I don't want.

A couple of months for me, but the break meant I was back into the game once I came back, beacuse it had had begun to feel a little stale to me after months of playing non stop.

I always TT back to last date played or make sure I deny a move out, and even then I'll sometimes check with a new character to make sure no one moved while I was gone... After seeing all the horror stories about dreamies moving out on here I've become a little paranoid about it!

I played the game everyday 1 day before the game even came out, then after that when it halloween last year I stopped, Then back in december after I got SMB I started playing ACNL again.

My breaks generally tend to last like two or three months. Then I avidly play it again for a while. I make sure to always stop a villager from moving before taking a break so no one moves out, and I have the beautiful town ordinance enacted so my flowers don't wilt. So nothing ever really changes while I'm gone. :)

Months.
I just write down my last played date.
Then I use the 3DS clock to return to it so nothing is changed.
It's a hassle to catch up to current date but better than losing things.

3-6 months, about 2 times I think. Villagers that I wanted to move but didn't move actually moved out during that time, which in its turn may actually what pulled me back to the game in search for something to fill their spot. Oh boy :p

Quitting sometimes seems to be the best thing I can do actually. Then why am I still playing? One of the mysteries of life. :p

I think my longest hiatus was my last one that lasted about 5 months.
While I was gone I had lost Maple. :c She was one of my favorite villagers.

2 months since Ive not played. My two favorite villagers are still in my town.

A couple of months. I got really burnt out on the game and I just stopped playing. I didn't really decide to stop playing, it just sort of happened. Then I just "sort of" got back into it as well c: I learned that the best thing is to pace myself and not play for too many hours a day or feel compelled to play every. single. day. That way I can enjoy it and stave off the "obsessive" elements that usually result in burning out!

I guess I sort of got burnt out as well. And also, I already know how to keep villagers from moving, I just....didn't want to go through the trouble. And I'll miss Phoebe, but I've got some more villagers in line to live in my town, so it's sort of nice to have an extra space open right now. And I'm starting to play it more....but man, life just got sort of hectic all of a sudden.

my longest one was at least a year. i'm not really sure what happened, but i guess i just got bored. the only reason i've started playing regularly again is because i stayed at my aunt's house and my cousin loves Animal Crossing so much that we played it together. it made me realize how much i missed it, so i play it at least once a day now :^)

From July 7th 2014 to December 31st 2014. My 3DS battery puffed up and wouldn't work... Though I did TT to July 7th and work my way up from there. Some villagers I liked like Bam and Snake moved out...

A few months, around mid-September to November last year and 2 years ago, most likely due to the reason that I had exams in the final terms (in December).

I also had a long hiatus in my first town, but I decided to reset it about a week ago and now I'm back at it. Taking a short hiatus from my second town

It took me a few months to get back in to new leaf. Recently, I just started playing but I'm sensing I might go on another hiatus soon.
